Jazzyguy
Well, in total I got 33 extensions, not all of them are active of course. I'm going to list the important ones: Alexa Sparky If you want to see the current rank (and trend) of the website you're visiting. Currently piriform ranks #38724 and steady. All in One Gesture Customize mouse gestures, rocker navigations, scroll wheel, and page scrolling. Answers Alt-Click any word for definition or quick info. DownloadHelper One of the most important for me. Download video, stream of any kind, images, from many sites. Very useful, and easy to use. Flat Bookmark Editing This one is not that important, but I'm going to list this anyway. Edit bookmark in bookmark organizer without opening properties window. Should be the default interface. FoxLingo The ultimate web translator. Usually I don't activate this. Scarpbook Good at saving web pages. Session Manager Save and restore state of all windows. Very useful when firefox crash, it could restore all windows. Work Offline This one I use for a long time. It will add an online/offline icon on the status bar. You can click on it to change your online/offline status. I just like the icon okay. I don't use FEBE, I use MozBackup

JDPower
Just stumbled across a nice little extension for any regular YouTube visitors: Better YouTube As the info on the addon's page is non-existent here is the explanations of the functions given within the extension: Add "Download video" link Adds a link to downoad any YouTube video on page (uses YouTubeLoader.com) Alternate video player (FlowPlayer) Replace YouTube's player with FlowPlayer which prevents video from autoplaying and buffers the video automatically without having to press play first. Hide comments and "More from..." videos Removes comments and related videos with links to toggle back on. Show full video description Automatically displays the full video information without having to click the "More" link. Theatre view (large video and clean page) Enlarges video full screen and clears away other page elements.

Derick
I think 2-3 add-ons are enough, too much add-ons will slow FF down and consume more resource. 1) Noscript 2) Adblock Plus

ben :D
WOT:Web of Trust The greatest thing since sliced bread, OH I mean um, my favorite add-on that helps you stay safe online, by the help of its users, through a voting-like system. You rate websites from very unsafe to very safe in four categories, and earn trust, based on the number of users who agree with you, to ensure accuracy. In addition, blacklists, and whitelists, such as websites certified by Trust-E, or websites in Phishtank, change the reputation. AND, on top of that, algorithms are enforced, that are used to detect people abusing the system. If you are looking for me, I'm wehaveitall on the forums Stumbleupon It slows your browser to a crawl, but still it's pretty cool It lets you stumble upon a page liked by another user, so you can always find cool new stuff. Quick page zoom The name says it all. Download Statusbar An add-on that makes downloads more efficient, by showing them in a nifty bar at the bottom, allowing you to move your cursor over it and find all the details you need to know about it, instead of having an annoying download window come up. Some of these are FIrefox only

jack-72
hi there i use different add-ons but the two i would like to point out are: Better Privacy 1.22 "SuperCookieSafeguard". it keeps an eye on flash cookies (.sol) - so called super cookies - and eliminates them. to me another add-on against this tracking and information-getting/keeping techniques on the net today. link: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/6623 Track Me Not (TMN). it works on search engines to prevent their profile-making which can be used and sold by them. it simply "torpedoes" them with a certain amount of keywords per min/h which it takes from rss-feeds and so hides your real interests and search terms behind tens and more of others. link: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/3173 greets jack

Corona
I've used Download Statusbar for years, it always sent downloaded items to my My Documents folder. I reformatted, long story short, same configurations, but now Download Statusbar saves in a Documents And Settings subfolder. And I notice in its options it doesn't give me the option to save items to a folder of my choice. Is this the norm for this add-on now?
