Anthony A
Super DragAndGo 0.2.6 (currently off-line)Drag a link from a page to a clear bit on the page to open it. usefull with links that aren't clcikable I highly recommend Drag De Go if you are looking for a drag and drop extension. This extension has the best drag and drop functionality I have seen in any browser. You can control what happens for each direction you drag. For example you can set it to open a link in a background tab if you drag up and open it in a forground tab if you drag down. High light some text for seaching and you can not only control if the tab is for ground/back ground but also what search engine you want to use. You could have a different search engine for each direction. Many other options to. Very configurable. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2918
JDPower
FingerPrintLogin 0.5.2.7-2007-07-17 (No download or website available yet)Get a fingerprint reader to be able to work with firefox whenever a site asks for a password. This is one of my own extensions that i'm still developing, but i will NEVER release my work before it hase reached a stable state to prevent a lot of complaints asking why it wont work here and there bla bla bla. Whenever a site needs a password that is stored in the database, it will automatically popup a window asking to input a finger to login to the site. When a site askes for a password which hasn't been stored in the database (all specially encrypted), the user must place any recognised finger into the reader and a window pops up asking for the username and password. when the username and password for the new site is noted, it then immediately asks for a finger to be able to login to the site. it does this to check if every thing went correct Doesn't this extension already offer that functionality? Josh M
So eagle00789, are you saying that your extension will act like FingerAuth fingerprint login manager? Will it also work with any reader? Will it be free? When do you expect you'll be releasing the first public version?

runawayhorses
I'm using firefox 2, and I was checking my email on MSN Live Hotmail and a notification at the top screen said it needed to download "Real Player Browser Record Plugin 1.0" in order to play something (probably and audio ad), and I allowed it to download it. Now I have this plugin that I'm not sure that I need. My question is should I uninstall it? And if so, how? I looked at the unistall button but it was all shaded out. Is there another way to uninstall it? Thanks EDIT: (Real Player Browser Record Plugin 1.0) It's description is "It Detects all recordable content on the browser." Back To Top 5.0 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/658 Go to the top or bottom of a page with a single click. Maybe you already know this but just in case you don't I will tell you. If you go into about:config and find the entry middlemouse.scrollbarPosition and set it to true you will get the same thing as that extension gives you. Middle click on the scroll bar at the top and the page instantly goes to the top or do the same for the bottom of the page.

Before toggling middlemouse.scrollbarPosition the middle click would go into scroll mode (whatever it is called) when I clicked in/on the scroll bar. After the toggle it simply does nothing when I middle click in/on the scroll bar. Still normal function on the web page. I use the "Home" "End" keys. But when you are leaning back in the chair it it too much work, lol.

JDPower
Just spotted a really useful extension, tried it briefly but as a former extension junkie I'm trying to keep my extensions minimal: Flagfox - Flagfox shows a flag icon in the status bar indicating the current website's server location. It uses relatively little resources, and works by accessing an IP address database contained within the extension rather than relying on top-level-domain roots like ".com" or ".uk". Clicking the icon loads Geotool, which provides a map of the location as well as more information such as the ISP and city. The context menu also provides quick access to information about the country of origin, as well as the ability to lookup the site's registrant via Whois.
