Alan_B
Probably, but the only one I can think of that doesn't use the default profile location is Pale Moon. What is it, %AppData%\Moonchild Productions\Pale Moon\Profiles? I am using PaleMoon v 12 (it has abandoned the rat race towards infinity) It is however receiving security updates plus improvements designed for the benefit of Palemoon users. I have two paths in use for my profile C:\Users\Alan\AppData\Roaming\Moonchild Productions\PaleMoon\Profiles\4qbu47br.default and C:\Users\Alan\AppData\Local\Moonchild Productions\PaleMoon\Profiles\4qbu47br.default The non-admin general user account also has C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Moonchild Productions\PaleMoon\Profiles\s1t2a4mk.default and C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Moonchild Productions\PaleMoon\Profiles\s1t2a4mk.default I cannot find any trace of a Palemoon Thumbnail. Moderators Andavari Posted June 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 19, 2012 I cannot find any trace of a Palemoon Thumbnail. I can't either find anything either, which was why I asked the question if Firefox clones had that thumbnail folder.
Winapp2.ini
The thumbnail folder would present itself in version 13, since the thumbnails are from the new tab display feature introduced in v13 of firefox. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
natsumerio
If you don't use firefox 13+'s new 9 tab display page feature, I found out from somebody how to stop firefox from making them in the first place. 1) Start firefox. 2) In firefox's address bar, type "about:config". 3) Right click somewhere, click "new > boolean". 4) Name this "browser.pagethumbnails.capturing_disabled". 5) Set it's value as "true". 6) Close that tab. Winapp2.ini
I think it came up since the entry used to be in the file, and was presumed to still be there, but is actually in the program now. Also, addressing it was Winapp.ini is misleading (admittedly, I instinctively write winapp2 almost every time) winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

J_I_Mancinelli
Howdy folks, after a lengthy absence I return with a question. I have recently started using qBittorrent on my computer. It is a free/open source torrent client. I was wondering if any of you folks were familiar with it and what files (if any) can be deleted in its %appdata% folders. It isn't a huge big deal because I really don't use it that frequently, I was just wondering if there is anything in qBittorrent to add to winapp2.ini. J_I_Mancinelli
OK I think I came up with one thing we can put for qBittorrent: [qBittorrent*] LangSecRef=3022 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\qBittorrent\ Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\qBittorrent\torrents|*.torrent Note that this would only be necessary if you choose to check off Options > Downloads > Copy .torrent files to... and then specify that folder, so maybe some of you might have some objection to including this. Let me know what you think. "When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other." --Eric Hoffer
