  1. Nice link Hazel, lots of stuff there I've not seen before. Grabbed a couple. Thanks.
  2. Parvez, that is absolutely gorgeous. Every thing about it is so relaxing and pleasing to the eye. Top marks. I want one.
  3. For you guys who like Youtube type videos, this is the full version free. All you have to do, is give your email address for them to send you a one off lifetime registration key. I've downloaded and tried this, and it looks and performs really well, and the registration key came as promised. There's plenty info and screenshots on the web page. Ashampoo Clipfinder:
  4. I right clicked his pic, selected properties, and cut and pasted the address into browser. This is the site without Tylers pic details. http://www.wtv-zone.com/ Can you access it this way?
  5. Sorry guys, but I'm here with Firefox and I can see his desktop picture fine, and have seen it since he posted it. The mystery deepens. Spooky.......... Edit: Even copied the link from pic properties, pasted it in the address bar and went straight to site.
  6. Thanks for that, cutting and pasting now............ Done.
  7. Edited by poster: Too longwinded. Same info and links provided. Been trying to do this for a while, and the problem was finding an app that would not only overburn by a couple of minutes, but would also do it without putting gaps between the tracks. Decided to join the .wav tracks of each disk together with this free app I found Mediajoin, which assures a seamless, no pauses playback, and then set Sonic to overburn by 5000 sectors, which was enough for the extra time needed to get disks 1 & 2 onto one disk. Worked a treat, "The Wall" on one cd. Another free app I found that would join the tracks seamlessly, and quickly, was Audiojoiner.
  8. Unless someone recognizes that, you're looking for a needle in a haystack, which you already know. But I'm puzzled by why you're looking for it if you already have it, or are you simply trying to find the same site, or some similar wallpaper? Although it's a probably a forlorn hope, I'll keep my eye out for it.
  9. Got Adblock plus installed, and although I don't have MVPS hosts file, I did put an entry into the hosts file:- 127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com, and that got rid of it, but all I get now is a blank. Thanks for your reply, I'll see if any of the others that use this service have the same thing.
  10. I've noticed a few people are using this hosting service, and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this Google Ad problem. The ad appeared in place of the thumbnail some time ago, as in first picture. I then had the brilliant idea of blocking the ad. The result of that is the second picture. Because I like this hosting service, I politely emailed the company asking why the change? No reply. Am I the only one?
  11. Got it running great, smooth and quick enough. Unfortunately, you don't appear to have McAfee visible at all, and Spybot S & D jumped up during one of the page searches to tell me one of the sites was malicious, and no other visible warning. Anyone else find this? Edit: Back with Spacetime, after launching it from desktop. For the very basic things it does (and of course its beta), it works pretty well, and quick. Moves between forum pages OK. But as I say, very limited at the moment. No tabs: If you try to open a new page it uses IE: If you try to view a pic it uses IE: And the final thing, Task Manager shows two Spacetime.exe's, one at 45mb, the other at 18mb.
  12. runaway, please forgive the tone of my previous post. It seems to have come across stronger than I intended. Maybe I misread how much importance was being placed on numbers and a name, when we both know that neither are really that important. My intention wasn't to offend.
  13. Success, got it, although it tells me I don't really have enough "video memory", so it will run slowly. Will let you know.
  14. I'll let you know if I can eventually get the page to load. Been chuckling away to myself there (first sign they say), looking at "waiting for spacetime.com" in the corner of Firefox. I must have been lost in the continuum somewhere.
  15. Gonna have a look at that Hazel, but it's spooky to be looking at a browser link when the forum has suddenly gone really sluggish for the first time in months. Edit: Back up to speed again. Must have been a gremlin.
  16. I'm not suggesting anything at all, and you can read into my comments anything you like. We all have the opportunity of voicing our opinion on here, and I'm stating my opinion of something that hasn't actually been discussed before. And I can't understand why this should seem to agitate anyone. There's a lot more to be gained from a community like this than how many posts you've made, and what name you have under your avatar.
  17. Yep, Anthony's right as far as Firefox goes. Spellcheck only works if I right click "spell check this field" for every post. Even when I simply preview post, when I move back to the text window, spellcheck is inactive again. And this is the only place where this happens.
  18. Not a very comforting thought for any Dell owners on here. Yes, XP SP3.
  19. Depends what you use them for Stephen. For example one burns, the other doesn't. (As far as I'm aware). If it was me, and I wasn't struggling for disk space, I'd just keep them both. If I was short of space, I'd keep the most useful. I've got a few apps that play DVDs, and between them all, they're much of a muchness. IMHO.
  20. I think it's a sort of OK way for the forum to give some sort of recognition to the amount of time and effort someone puts into being a member. And by that I mean someone who brings a good attitude to the forum, and tries to contribute within their own sphere of experience and knowledge. Number of posts?.......Quality of posts? I think everyone on here just does their best to be a member of a pretty OK community. And it's pretty evident that people who come here with the wrong attitude seldom hang around long enough for any sort of recognition anyway. Power Member? Me? How embarrassing.
  21. I close mine down every time I finish with it, which is a few times per day. We (my family), have forced ourselves into the habit of leaving nothing on standby at all. Link:
  22. I've got that JD, thanks for the link. Backing up is something I've neglected lately (apart from photos). There's been so many backup programmes recommended on here recently, that I just haven't been able to pick one. Isn't it a quirky thing that too much choice can be a problem.
  23. Funny that JD, I was just wondering earlier today how long ms might be supporting XP. Maybe longer than even they had first planned.
