  1. Actually it doesn't. You can run a Custom Clean or an Analyze straight from the buttons on the Welcome screen (OK you will need an extra click if you want to change the ticks/unticks. How often do you do that?) If you have your CCleaner set to open with Health Check then you can run that from the Welcome screen too
  2. Ok then, there is no user setting in CCleaner to disable the new User Interface Welcome screen. Changing the relevant registry entry may work for a time, until CCleaner puts/changes it back again. And currently I suspect that would happen daily. It's the most likely method how the new screen was activated. (The screen itself has been in CCleaner since v6.09. It just wasn't activated for most users). I'd suggest that the vast majority of users will soon get used to it as just being how CCleaner now looks.
  3. It's a new screen that seems to be rolling out to everybody. It is meant to be there, and so there is no option to disable it.
  4. Today the new screen has shown up on my second laptop. I now have it on both laptops, one with CCleaner Pro, the other CCleaner Free. So it does appear that the new 'Welcome back' screen may now be being activated more widely, maybe even for all users. It is first appearing at different times for different users, as a gradual activation. It you have more than one machine with CCleaner then you may notice that one gets activated before another, like mine did.
  5. Not in the long term, it's almost certainly here to stay and everyone will have it. Most software changes it's User Interface from time to time. Those that don't change begin to look dated. With any change to anything - Some are going to hate it, some won't mind, and some will like it. Of course it's only the haters who will shout about it on fora, with a few 'me too's' from the don't minds, and so reactions can look skewed. There could be, probably are, may more don't minds or likes, but you don't see them shouting about it. The funny thing is that everybody quickly gets familiar with the change, so that if/when it comes to change again in a few years then they shout about that new change too. (And it's usually the same people doing the shouting, many people prefer what's familiar and just don't like any change). PS. Personally I'm not too keen on the new welcome screen either, but like the many other UI changes that have happened in the past I'll soon get used to it. Nothing functional has changed, it's only a UI screen.
  6. As it's obviously something that they have spent time working on then how likely do you think that is? Most software changes it's User Interface from time to time. 7. Can you give us a few more details to work with: Are you using Health Check or Custom Clean? Is it 'freezing', closing, or something else? How far is it getting before stopping? If you are using Health Check then do a Custom Clean instead, if Custom Clean freezes then see what it says at the top of the results window when it stops working.
  8. Mmm, yours is the second report of that in a couple of days that the button has gone mising, I'll flag it up to be investigated. In the meantime you can do it the old fashioned way, email: support@ccleaner.com and ask them to turn your auto renewal off. Use the email from which you purchased CCleaner so that they can identify your account.
  9. No it's all in every CCleaner, screen and all. That 'Welcome' screen has been in your CCleaner since v6.09, it just wasn't showing it to you before today. If/when you get shown things is set by registry entries, and timers within the CCleaner programme itself. At the moment I see that new 'Welcome' screen today on one of my laptops but not on the other, like I say it's random. Part of the reason for that randomness is to gauge ramdom user reactions to the new screen and get comments - so that's working and they are getting comments.
  10. As you have paid for a subscruption then you have access to support. Use the form here: https://www.ccleaner.com/contact/other-enquiry Or send an email to: support@ccleaner.com
  11. Good to hear you got what you needed. Just regard the bundled stuff as 'free stuff' that you don't want. It hasn't cost you anything so if you won't use it then don't install it, nobody is forcing you to. Personally I don't want Kamo, I do ocassionally use Recuva and Speccy but wouldn't pay for the Pro versions because the Free versions do the same job (except for some very specialist stuff in Recuva) just without automatic updates and 'priority' support. (You can get free help from other users on this forum anyway). So basically, apart from the specilised Recuva functions, you are paying for the support and some people do want to do that. PS. That's one reason why Defraggler Pro is no more, functionally it didn't do anything more than Defraggler Free can do anyway, and it's simple enough not to need much support. Defraggler almost certainly won't be getting any more updates. The rise of SSDs means that the home users' need for a defragmenting tool is reducing. All defragmenters will gradually become a niche tool for those who still have spinning magnetic discs for whatever reason.
  12. I just saw it too on CCleaner free. That screen has been around for a while as a 'beta test'. From previous discussions about it it's just random if you get it or not. See:

  14. The 'standard' Firefox is dropping support for Windows 7, 8, & 8.1. Firefox v115 (the current version) will be the last to support them, so users of those Windows versions will be moved to Firefox ESR. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-users-windows-7-8-and-81-moving-extended-support
  15. There are a few different 'Buy Now' pages, depending on what link you follow. (And yes that can be confusing). I've found a "2 Years - 5 Devices" on this purchase webpage (I assume you want US dollars, you change it top right of the page): https://secure.ccleaner.com/502/uurl-hmb2vdrs80?x-campaign=1&x-origin=2&x-variant=1 The payment forms/options are below that as usual. Interestingly I've noticed that if you change currency from GBP to USD or to Euros then the symbol changes but not the amount. For all other currencies the amount changes as well. If that's intentional then it's a lot cheaper to purchase in USD or Euros than it is in GBP, depending on the exchange rates at any time. (Although local purchase taxes may make a difference too). PS. CCleaner Premium includes Priority Support, which may have been what that email was going on about? https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041076052
  16. I've moved it. We often don't bother which particular sub-forum a thread is in, people can still find them. Though it does make things tidier if they are in the most relevant one. PS. Dave no longer works at CCleaner, there have been a few staff changes in recent months, so I doubt that anyone will see 'pings' or messages for him. (unless someone logs in using that username/password).
  17. That's odd, there should be a blue button with 'Gérer l'abonnement' there underneath 'Renouvellement automatique:' What version of Windows do you have? What version of CCleaner are you running? (Older versions before v5.51 did not have that button, but you shouldn't be using an older version unless you have Windows XP or Vista). If you have an up to date CCleaner then I'd do a reinstall to see if that puts the button there: Download the 'Slim' installer (3rd one down) from here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Double click the downloaded 'ccsetup613_slim.exe' to reinstall CCleaner. (Don't uninstall the old one first, if you do that then you will need to enter your key again in the new install so make a note of it). See if you now have the blue ''Manage Subscription' button. If that doesn't work then email support@ccleaner.com and explain your problem, that you don't have that button, they will be able to cancel your subscription for you.
  18. Ah, but I was criticising them a bit, in a polite way of course. (Not for the first time, and sometimes less politely).
  19. If they are listed under 'Cookies to Keep' then they won't also be listed under 'Cookies on Computer'. (So yes what I was saying about the name). I don't know about Health Check using Custom Clean Parameters in general, it was never intended to do that. (If it did that then it would just be Custom Clean, and there would be no point having both). But I have noticed that there is now a section in Health Check where you can set an 'Allowlist' for cookies, and that Allowlist mirrors with the 'Cookies to Keep' list in Options>Cookies. So that if you set a cookie to allow/keep in one place then it also gets set in the other one. In Health Check click 'Privacy' then 'Manage Allowed Websites'. The 'Cookie Allowlist' there will contain the same list as 'Cookies to Keep' in Options>Cookies.
  20. Well programme developers are only people and just like the rest of us make mistakes now and again. (Or get enthusiastic and do something that isn't needed).
  21. Personally I'd class them as duplicate system files. And as we always say about the Duplicate Finder: "Leave the system duplicates alone, they are (usually) not junk but are there for a good reason".
  22. Do you mean that you want to cancel an automaticaly renewing subscription? https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020674812-How-do-I-manage-my-CCleaner-subscription-#how-to-cancel-your-subscription--0-3 But:- if you can't see the option to 'Manage Subscription' in your CCleaner then you don't have an automatically renewing subscription. In that case when you go to Options>Licence Key it should say there: "Auto Extension: Disabled" No payment will be taken automatically. Instead when your licence is due for renewal you will get a billing notification, and will have to make a manual payment or your licence will expire.
  23. As your existing lience subscription has expired then it would seem that all you need to do is purchase a new licence/subscription for CCleaner to cover the number of devices you want to cover. You will get a 'new style' product licence key to use on the devices. The 'new style' key can be used to register CCleaner on PC, Mac, and Android devices. It's also used to register the bundled apps if you choose to use them. CCleaner Pro covers one device. CCleaner Pro Plus covers up to 3 devices. (It comes bundled with Recua & Speccy) CCleaner Premium covers up to 5 devices. (It comes bundled with Recuva, Speccy, and Kamo). For above 5 devices you would be looking at a business version, CCleaner Cloud. Fair enough you may not want the particular bundled apps, but just compare the price of 3, 4 or 5 single licences with the prices of the Pro Plus and Premium bundles and you are still winning even if you never use the bundled apps. Particularly if you buy during one of the frequent Sale Offers. (Or a cashback offer). eg At the moment here CCleaner Premium (5 devices) is showing a £15 (GBP) discount on the purchase page, that's 19% off. (And so it's currently less than half the cost of 5 individual CCleaner Pro licences). https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/plans PS. Defraggler has been removed from the bundles simply because there is no longer a paid for Pro version of Defraggler, the Free version of Defraggler is still available and does everything that Defraggler Pro could do. PPS. You don't actually get sent the 'bundled' apps, you download/install them seperately and then enter the key to register them.
  24. Oh, well. Guess we will never know just what it was, and MS pushed outlook 365 at you so there's probably nothing left of outlook 2019. As long as things are working again for you then I suppose that's all that matters.
  25. Good to hear you sorted the AVG. We see it often with certain antiviruses, a 'Check for Updates' will say that it the AV is up to date, but that's the definitions and not the app itself. You have to dig deeper into the AVs menu/settings, or visit the website, to see if there is an application update. Whilst I can't be 100% certain, Health Check was most likely trying to update your installed AVG. I'm guessing what it was saying about 'Free' was wrong. I can't be 1000% sure because it has been known to get things wrong. (ie. for a while i would try to update Irfanview 64-bit with the latest 32-bit version, that's been fixed). The only way to be sure would have been to let it continue and see what it actually did. Do you also want to try and work out what happened with your Outlook? If so then please tell us what happened with that.
