It's been a requested feature before, which would be handy but they haven't added it as a feature yet. Currently if you wish to securely delete files/folders you can delete them to the Recycle Bin, and then make sure secure deletion is enabled and CCleaner will securely delete them from the Recycle Bin.

A few people have posted on the forums since v4.18 was initially released about setting those to 0, so that CCleaner will not enable the tray icon. Make sure you're using the newest version of CCleaner v4.18.4844 by downloading it from Piriform (to insure you actually have the newest version) which is supposed to fix the monitoring.

Although different than your suggestion which is a good one, you can already zap startups by making a winapp2.ini cleaner - of course it's a better practice to disable startups via the actual program settings if they allow it.

It does that on my system as well when I have it run from a batch file (I don't use any secure deletion). In my case I know it's directly related to the antivirus software I use which seems to get that systray icon stuck for awhile. I've found just waving my mouse pointer over the CCleaner icon in the systray will usually cause it to immediately exit if it's actually done cleaning.

Chrome probably isn't fully closed, that's usually why. The way CCleaner removes MRU it doesn't perform any search as a registry cleaner would do. What you want would have to be completely changed and moved from the Cleaner and into the registry cleaner. The only options currently available are: 1. Untick/disable cleaning of programs you want to retain the MRU in. 2. Or for programs that use the registry for the MRU you could input registry exclusions in: Options->Exclude->Add->Registry Key

Wait for it to be either partially or officially supported.

That could also be a problem if the audio+video track get out-of-sync. Basic tools without enough options I've found when video editing usually equal hitting a brickwall when needing to do something else. One of the most annoying things I've ran into in too many to count video editing tools are those that have absolutely no visualization of the cropping.

Also if you see cleaners in it that end with an asterick such as: Some Program* That would mean you're also using a winapp2.ini file (either from this forum or elsewhere) which will be installed in the same directory as CCleaner.exe, and you may want to look through it for anything that you may need to remove from it.

I've never seen CCleaner remove something from the drivers section of the registry. Perhaps going into Device Manager and using it's options such as installing drivers, etc., can get your USB3 to working again - but before doing that I'd recommend searching the Microsoft.com site and/or the computer manufacturer site for an easy automatted fix.

I do too, I always appreciate it when a program has that ability.

Well I know on one occasion where Comodo Secure DNS stopped a page from loading stating it was malicious or something, it was the one and only time I saw it auto-protect my system. I'm all about layered security and also use MVPS Hosts along with ad-blocking extensions.

CCleaner is not a malware remover! Read number 10 here, and choose a malware removal site which will help you for free.

Something else to check with the speakers if they're powered is an electricity blackout and sometimes a fluctuation of the electricity can cause some to stop working until they're powered-off, unplugged, plugged in, and then powered-on.
