  1. Eh? Does what? And how does that improve gaming performance?
  2. The X1900XT =DDD A little loud, though, didn't want to go a little bit higher and go for the 7900GTX?
  3. Happy 4th! The shuttle Discovery went up today
  4. www.mlin.net StartUp Control Panel
  5. Before FF came out, Netscape was teh r0xx0rz.

    Adblock

Adblock rules. Another reason why FF is so awesome
  7. Been there, done that
  8. CaPMan, I'm not so sure that heat could cause the graphics card to have lag... I have a FX5200, and can run Oblivion - and it runs fine, even though the fan on it is broken (leaving me with just a heat sink). keithek2000, your random restarts would be much easier to fix if you would post your hardware specs. Also update your latest drivers - Windows Updates and graphics drivers for your graphics card.
  9. Maybe not, but there is some kind of error now that messed up your install. Try a full install of Office, selecting all options to avoid those kind of dialogue boxes.
  10. Miserable failure works too. It's been there ever since he became president (more or less)
  11. Don't worry, we're still alive... barely...
  12. Imageshack Quickshot automatically takes a screenie and uploads it to ImageShack's website for easy sharing -- no need to attach images. http://reg.imageshack.us/content.php?page=quickshot
  13. err... why? and why not? have you even tried?
  14. I think that Nero (I have an OEM version) installs 3-4 applications. A few media players, the burner, SmartStart, etc. In that case, you might have deleted one, but there are still a few others that haven't been deleted.
  15. Windows XP Classic theme, black background. My Computer, My Network Places, My Documents, Recycle Bin, four folders: Media, Stuff, Documents, Games. Keeps down on the RAM usage, loads instantly, plain, simple... sometimes just for the heck of it I'll start up Window Blinds again and go on a modding rampage... but I'm a sucker for speed and getting the best performance out of my (sucky) hardware
  16. That's never been a problem for me on FF. I'm using a 19" monitor, set at 1280x1024, 800dpi, 4/11 Window sens... it scrolls fast enough.
  17. Make a post in the announcements forum
  18. Yeah, it would help just a little to know that, par0x
  19. LOL! WOW! 130 GBs removed! ... wait a second.. OH SNAP!
  20. I think you'd be much better off getting the non-windowed version (don't get the Raptor-X.) Not only is it a very expensive and somewhat useless toy, the regular Raptor is cheaper and maybe a little bit better. I haven't heard of any hard drive that would work better/worse in a RAID set-up, although regular Raptors are frequently used in servers, which could mean a RAID 1, or maybe even a RAID 0 set-up is valuable. I don't see any of them going down any time soon, since WD pretty much has a monopoly on desktop 10kRPM drives.
  21. Nod32 tends to freak out whenever it reaches a file it can't open (including some system files.) It puts them up in big, bold, colored letters that can be frightening, but, as TonyKlein said, nothing to lose sleep over
  22. Neccesita EL ADMINISTRADOR access. 2 years of spanish and that's all I can do -.-
  23. ... Why don't you just PUT your files in the temp file? Then you won't have to deal with them. And what's with all the random posts anyway? They seem rather redundant *cough* spam *cough*
  24. Try switching the RAM sticks. Switch the slots, run memtest again, then take out one, run memtest again, etc. I once had some RAM problems that went away simply by switching RAM sticks. No costly trip to an unhelpful computer store needed.
