  1. Gunsights. Tritium. Multiplies the effects for a plutonium implosion bomb.
  2. AOL is popular merely because it caters to n00bs. Kinda like dell. they both should die!
  3. Linky BEWARE! The most dangerous search terms, revealed! The only search term I think I used was 'Limewire.' Those who took the Spyware quiz over in the SpyWare Hell already know that Bearshare is evil... as for the others, who ever searches for those? by the way... can someone tell me what winmx is? I don't want to search for it
  4. w00t! RealMedia is baaaaddd....Not just EVIL. But Eeeee-VIL!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, Tor is an excellent program. If you're using Firefox, you can use NoScript, which blocks Javascript. Keep in mind that some menu items don't work, some websites won't appear, etc. but the icon in the lower right can allow/block sites at will. I use it all the time and never get pop-ups or anything...
  6. Vegas 6.0, Premiere... if you don't want to buy those you can try their trials, or if you're buying a new graphics card, Premiere Elements usually comes with it.
  7. Wow, that's a lot of beer. What about that guy's liver?
  8. pINNACLE? Pinnacle is... bad... to say the least... Pinnacle 10 is buggy, crashes on AMD processors, forces you to buy effects, etc. etc. etc. I really don't like it. It's user friendly (idiot proof, practically) but I dont' think it's a very good editing tool. Me? I usually use a combination of Premiere, Vegas 6, and VirtualDub.
  9. WMP is pretty bad for a beta. I personally use WinAmp, sometimes VLC media player.
  10. It's still going to be free until the end of the year, which is a good 6 months, and then some. Of course, they're probably gonna get a lot of backlash once they start charging again...
  11. Hey, it looks pretty good! By the way you might want to check out ImageShack, a site that hosts your images. Anyway, I like how it's very "clean" and neat, and I like the faded effects, but the only "problem" I see is one of personal preference -- I think the letters are a little too faded (for example, it looks kind of like "Cleaner" instead of ""Cleaner".) I think that's because the paintbrush on the left brings too much attention to that side. If you're using PS, try upping the stroke value of the text by a pixel or two, or moving the main background logo to the right just a little bit.
  12. As of now CCleaner doesn't have that option, since the developer originally designed it to clean up space on a person's computer. I don't know if that is a future plan, but for now I can tell you with 99% (okay, maybe 85%) certainty that there is not a way to send them to the recycle bin. Registry cleanups, on the other hand, are a different story -- you can easily make backups for them, and CCleaner even walks you through it.
  13. Man, problems already. Apparently Skype doesn't realize that 70.x.x.x and 71.x.x.x IP addresses (I'm 71.x.x.x) are in-country. I hope they fix that issue soon :/
  14. Hi everyone, I'm sure many of you have been using the handy VOIP program, Skype (add me: minsarei ) I just got this in my inbox: No joke -- my friend just called my house phone from his computer. But we're still not entirely sure if there's a catch here -- it seems straight forward, but almost too good to be true. We'll see if in a month he gets a bill for $300 But if it is true, check it out!
  15. x2 I don't really like the toolbar, but I don't use IE if I can help it.
  16. What sidebar are you talking about? The only thing that looks like it's been changed to the top is the start button.
  17. I'm sure the FBI/CIA/NSA have very cordial relationships with ISPs.
  18. Not like my aunt. "Your computer has been infected with spyware. Click here to scan." "Okay!"
  19. More like the "free torrent tracker" virus. Fantasy sports = -.-
  20. Think of the problems it would produce if CCleaner would go to other people's computers and messed around with it for them.
  21. It's nearly a year old now. Some of it's outdated =/
  22. 160GB does it for me, I'm only using around 90 gigs. What takes up most of your space anyway? Music?
  23. Can't you just drag the start button tool bar to the left, right, and top anyway?
  24. I don't know about ad-block, but I keep my computer clean and use a slightly-modified FF, and I rarely, if eer, get pop-ups. Plus I use a Javascript blocker (NoScript -- a blessing and a curse), it can block most ads from even appearing. My experience on CCleaner mostly has the google ads at the top, but that's easy to ignore.
  25. I don't know how the friends function work, but maybe it's because they haven't added you to their list. Just a guess. Maybe the server was lagging.
