  1. 30+?!?!?!? Why would you need that many open!
  2. Makes me want to go out and get a dog. Just can't afford to feed another mouth right now...
  3. Hey puppy! The innocent ones are always the ones you find in the hamper chewing on your dirty socks!
  4. Keithuk, U3 is the software installed on drives made by Sandisk that helps launch programs installed on the flash drive. It is allowed to access the host computer's registry and can write to it as well. U3 I thought the main difference between CC and CC Portable was the portable.dat file?
  5. YEAH! Will read when I get into work. Thanks MrRon!
  6. Depends on what OS he is running on... What operating system are you using lucky14? PageDefrag runs on XP Keith
  7. It shows up on my Vista Home Premium laptop... Just not my XP machines for some reason
  8. It doesn't show up in XP SP2 or 3 for me. I haven't loaded up my laptop that has Vista but I don't remember seeing it there either.
  9. Welcome to the forums... This may help! System Requirements
  10. I would check your Program Files directory for anything related to Yahoo toolbar. Just because it isn't in Add/Remove, doesn't mean it's not on your computer. Keith
  11. Here you go... Piriform has its own documentation site for all 3 programs now... This is the direct page for the information you are looking for: Advanced Windows files Keith
  12. My CCleaner doesn't actually show the publisher's information :/ How did you get that to popup? What operating system you on? For some reason, when I use JavaRA at work on users' computers, it doesn't always take update 7 off... It's always 7 that it has problems with so I manually remove it in Add/Remove
  13. metalj, PageDefrag does not support Windows Vista. Keith
  14. Yeah I know it's not going to line up perfectly... But like I said, it was stuck on 33% for 2.5 hours on the Vista laptop so I used JK Defrag and it worked fine after that. Not sure what happened there. And I know all about, defragging the files only Thanks anyway!
  15. I am not a developer but I would sure love to see a boot time defrag option in the near future. I use Defraggler exclusively as well with the built-in Windows defragmenter. Occassionally I'll use JKDefrag, but it's very rare. Just recently, I had to download a trial version of Diskeeper in order to defrag the pagefile and system files on my Vista laptop.
  16. OOHH! That's all it is??? LOL! Sorry for the bad information
  17. My mistake. FileKey1=D:\Cplusplus\MyProject1\obj|*.*|REMOVESELF How's that?
  18. FileKey1=D:\Cplusplus\obj|*.*|REMOVESELF would seem more reasonable. Take a look here: How to add your own program for CCleaner to clean Keith
  19. It helps because certain system files cannot be defragged while the system is running. For example: pagefile.sys, the MFT, C:\System Volume\, etc... You would need a commercial Disk defragmenter to do a boot time defragmentation of the volume(s) in order to defrag these files. Keith
  20. Negative. If I am not the one doing the racing (see: road rage), I don't want any part of it. I am a football and basketball type of guy myself
  21. I used debug3 on defraggler for the Vista laptop and it finished in about 20 mins... I did use JKDefrag to defrag and optimize the drive after Defraggler would not finish so that could be wise. I will attach a photo of the analysis after defragmentation but I can't attach the debug file because it's 106MB.
  22. This might help: Running Defraggler in Debug mode Keith
  23. I'm thinking they mean the name of the company or organization that developed the software that you have installed on your computer and shows up in Add/Remove programs. I hope this helps, Keith
