The custom clean/health check is a bit of a mess in my opinion.
Users installing CCleaner have no idea that they use different rules and so many problems are caused by this.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

After you have used CCleaner open the sites which have the cookies you want to keep.
Then open CCleaner go to Options...Cookies.
In the left-hand column highlight a cookie and click the arrow in the middle to send it over to the Cookies to Keep list on the right.

You may have a corrupt recycle bin.

Does it install on the C drive okay?
What can you tell us about the set up of the other drive you are trying to update CCleaner on.
Was it running okay on that drive using a previous version of CCleaner?

It all just goes to show how complicated for users (and mods) a once simple program has become.

Don't believe all you read. Just about every 'news' site you go one will warn, shout or similar. They have to get readers.
This seems to have been a very easy upgrade for me. I always do 2 or 3 full restarts in the hours following a major upgrade so that everything gets the chance to be put in it's place and settle down.
As nukecad says if you have any of those 'stoppers' you wouldn't be offered the update anyway.

2 machines done so far using upgrade via a USB iso.
No issues.
-
What Windows operating system do the computers with 5.44 installed have?
-
-
Still not offered in UK here this morning so I've made an iso via the Media Creation Tool and will be doing an upgrade on this PC when I've finished my morning forum runs.
I may also use it to do a clean install on a laptop just to see what's what.
As I have Macrium images I'm not worried if it goes wrong

Just download the free version from here
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download
When installed just select ..Options..About.. and press the button at the top which says Upgrade to Pro
Then just enter the details it asks for.

Being a bit naughty... things like this always get found out by users in the end.
