Well....when my parents did a partial renovation/partial addition to the house, we added a sun room. This was about three years ago. That first year...we didn't have the flooring in...so we had our old tree in our living room. So two years ago, my parents wanted a bigger tree and to put it in the new room, so they saw some at Home Depot. Well, eventually they went back, and the only one they had left was the one on the floor. Well, my parents asked if they could get it, and they were like yeah you can buy this one. Then we asked, "what about the decorations?" and they said something to the effect of, "Umm let us check." Well, they had some sort of decorator do it, and they said to us, "Go ahead, take it how it is." So me and my dad leaned it onto a cart, rolled it down to the contractors pick up side, and on the way, someone commented "That's the way to do it!" The checkout person was sort of surprised, but she didn't give us any problems. So we got it into our SUV...with the hatch pulled down with ropes around it so it didn't fall out, and we made the trek home, which is probably at around 5 miles or so. Me and my dad pulled in, took it out, and brought it around the house and put it in through the window!!!! In the end, we broke I think 6 bulbs, and nothing else. It came pre-lit, with the bows and bulbs, and we haven't made any changes. My mom took a picture the first year so we could remember how it looked, and we've fully disassembled it and reassembled it now for the third time i believe. It's in the exact same spot this year, and the picture was on the computer before. So that's my story AJ

Corona...you live in the same state as me. So yeah...we got about 8 inches on Friday into Saturday, and today, they're predicting 3-5. I sure is pretty. Finally, a white Christmas! AJ

Let's hear it. ___________________________________ Well, I was coming back from Massachusetts from a relatives house, and my family and I were on the Berlin Turnpike, and note that it was 8:30 PM. So, we're driving, and lo and behold, there's already a line at Best Buy!!!. There's about 10-20 people in the line. I meant to look at the circular a second time, but I don't remember seeing any outstanding deals there. It was about 34 degrees Fahrenheit at the time. Some had tents, others just hanging around. AJ

My dad likes all the old and good stuff. Big on all those bands---Clapton, Santana, Steve Ray Vaughan, Zeppelin, Hendrix... He doesn't like a lot of newer stuff, with the exception of the Los Lonely Boys. Saw them in concert, and they kicked ass. AJ

After having read the magazine for the past two years, I finally joined the forum over there a few months ago. I give a look at their website every day because of those news stories. So, if you ever need technical questions answered that we don't have here, I can always post "I got a friend that has this problem...etc." I know I sound like I'm pimping another forum, but obviously, they are a more general computing help forum compared the forums here which are more based for the support of Piriform's products. Anyways, they have great articles, this being another one of them. AJ

Hey guys. I updated to Firefox 3.0.4 yesterday, and I think it broke the GMail Manager add-on. It says 0% of 0 MB used, which is obviously wrong. I clicked, and it still brought me to my account, but I believe something broke it with this update. I didn't notice it till today. Anyone else using this add-on? AJ EDIT: Never mind, it seems to have worked itself out. I think it was just a glitch. Shows my usage and the total size.

I've been Firefox nearly exclusively for the last 2+ years. Never had any serious gripes with it. I just realized on my laptop that I never installed IE7 Pro. I better get on that....eventually . AJ

I'm glad Obama did win...call me a sell out, but I like change in this instance. Also, not only did McCain blunder with the whole Palin thing, but I never found him to have truly separated himself from Bush's policies. Voting 90% of the time with what Bush wanted is never good. AJ
