abu aufa --- affordable is not $650 for a phone. That is ridiculous. I know the Nokia N96 is feature packed, but that's insane. iPhone's and the T-Mobile G1 are much cheaper if buy them with a plan. If you don't need a data/smartphone. I have the Motorola RAZR2 V8, under a T-Mobile family plan. ~Motorola RAZR2 Website ~ It is a good all around phone - inexpensive, good looking, feature packed, and still pretty new. (I was just looking, and I swore that AT&T had a newer version of it, but the closest one is the Motorola MOTOZ9, but it is a slider. My friend has it and I like it.) Ironically enough, I hated T-Mobile in Connecticut, well at least near my house, but up at school in New York state, my service is a lot better. If the network was better (3G coverage), and I had the money for the data plan, I'd get the G1 in a heart beat. AJ

According to Maximum PC's article found here, IE8 is final. I won't download it till it comes out on Windows Update, but one question I had was, "has anyone downloaded it with IE7Pro installed? I could see there being issues, but was wondering if I had to uninstall it come time when it does show up on Windows Update." So, can anyone answer my question? *Also, if you feel like talking about how IE8 is, then go right ahead.* AJ

The thing is, the other person did that, then he worked on the files. Do you think that questionnow didn't do that and that deleted the files? It does seem the most likely cause. If you (questionnow) were in a rush and you didn't eject it, it could happen. But I thought it would only affect the file you were working on, not everything else in the folder. AJ

If I understand you correctly, then you have 4 slots with 2 of them filled with 512 MB modules. If you add only one stick, then yes, you will void the dual channel function (funny story about that later though.) With them having to be the same kits, I think that would be done more for convenience then anything else. However, you should be fine with a solid kit of DDR2. If you want to be really safe, you could remove your kit, and get a 2x2 GB kit for 4 GBs and then you could remove your other set. Windows 32 bit O/S's won't display all of it, but it is there. AJ

True to what YoKenny said, it is nice to have a warranty. However, buying off of a site of Newegg and installing yourself is so simple. DDR2 is so cheap, it is insane, and it is one of the easiest upgrades you can do. AJ

If you need any help, I got 32 bit Ultimate on my laptop. Most annoying thing outside of the UAC (and RAM usage at times)? Sometimes folders will be arranged in a totally different way then the last time you looked at them. Like, how they are sorted or what size icons they are using. Especially the Games folder. Really weird. About davey: I thought I noticed a significant decrease in posting around here. Whoa...looked at my friends list: Last Active: 14th January 2009 - 11:07 AM I had no idea it had been that long...I hope he's alright. AJ
