  1. You disable UAC yet? Hahahahahaha. You'll get a annoyed quick. AJ
  2. Thing is, XP Pro 64 bit was terrible for the longest time. Terrible driver support basically. Vista 64 is much better. However, I got a friend with a Q6600, 8GBs of DDR2, a Radeon 4850, with harddrives and what not, in an Antec 900, and he uses XP 64 and it is fine. I think it was basically that printer drivers were terrible in the long run. AJ
  3. Hi there puppy! We just got a black Labrador puppy...about 8 weeks old. Female that's named Nell. Could only be with her for 2.5 days, and then I had to come back to school. AJ
  4. Edit: Have you seen the Genesis Sedan *in person* ? Haha. AJ
  5. Oh yeah, I definitely agree that this is the Tiburon's replacement. They never heavily marketed it in the US, and I think that's why it was only a so-so seller. Have you seen the Genesis Sedan? Wow, I was floored when I saw a black one at our local dealer. It was right before they came out in full marketing and production, and it was absolutely goregous. Such a high quality car. I'd buy a PS3 for GT5 and a Hyundai. Hell, the Tiburon made it into NFS: Underground 1 and 2. AJ
  6. I think that is your problem right there. I.E. 8 Beta. It isn't supported yet. I just looked back at the updates and it isn't there. AJ
  7. I've been a Hyundai fan since 2002, when my parents bought a Santa Fe. We also bought an 04 Elantra GT off of a lease. People are finally starting to understand that these cars are true competitors that are not plagued by the quality of the originals. I've wanted a Tiburon forever, but I'll definitely take the Genesis coupe over it. Rear wheel drive 3.8L V6 @ 306 HP is so tempting. AJ
  8. Got that from http://www.netplus.com.au/ I have no idea if that's a reputable dealer. For less money, I got a similar graphics card and a soundcard. Only thing is I don't know is that particular motherboard. I didn't research it. AJ
  9. I did a quick conversion and it comes to just under 1100 US dollars. You could build a better system for that price, or definitely cheaper for the same components. The parts aren't bad, but you could do better. AJ
  10. @ YoKenny. Sorry for ImageShack. Thanks for the information about Java. I just update and removed the older versions @ Everyone else. I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit. Not sure why it doesn't show up for XP users. Am I the only one that has this working??? That would be really strange. AJ
  11. I'm in agreement with kmillerusaf. I think he is right. I don't remember the publishers being there before. AJ
  12. Do you have CCleaner installed? Do you know how to do a screen shot? Cause you can take a picture of your screen of the Start up tab under CCleaner and we can help you disable what is unnecessary. Is your computer slow on start up? Or do you want to know what is unnecessary? AJ
  13. Quite the contrary. MaximumPC reviewed the newest version, and it is A LOT better. They gave it a 9 out of 10. They hadn't reviewed it in a while, and were thoroughly surprised. They had rewritten the code to scan much faster and run a lot more efficiently. My parents have run Norton throughout the years, and have liked it a lot more than McAfee by a long shot. You might need that much memory to run Crysis at full settings though . AJ
  14. 64 bit is definitely becoming more mainstream, and I'm glad that it does. With access to greater than 4Gb's of RAM, it should force coders to make their programs 64 bit. Windows 7 should be 64 bit only, but obviously that will not happen. My Core i7 system will have 6 GB's of RAM when I start it, and I'll eventually move to 12 GB's when it is cheaper. I'm either using the Windows 7 Beta or buying Vista Ultimate. AJ
  15. BOOM HEADSHOT! Hahaha lol Made my morning. AJ
  16. It is probably throttling it self back when it isn't in use. It is a power saving feature. Don't worry about it. CCleaner should tell you the speed. There has to be a way to complain and get your money back especially with the false advertising part. AJ
  17. He is such a creeper. It sucks for him, but I really don't care. He's madddd weird. AJ
  18. Either that, or spam. GTHO if you're the latter. AJ
  19. When I run it in a Virtual PC, it works. The only thing that I noticed is that the recycle bin options don't show up (the right click options). But my experience has been that it works. AJ
  20. @ Disk4mat. Even I've been asked to refrain from posting from the Spyware Forums. Basically, the mods don't want people who aren't the designated Spyware Mods to post stuff because if they take your advice (and I know it is most likely legit) and it does screw something up, they'll start to blame everyone. The Spyware mods are here to be used. And FYI, telling mods to stop doing something that is totally under their power and discretion will usually get you banned. Or tick them off even more. AJ
  21. Something like this is all you would need. <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133250" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814133250 </a> With the rebate, $50 is a good deal. And even with the resolution, you'll probably be able to push everything up, even if you don't game. This is a desktop, correct? Vista is not a mistake. Yes it uses more resources, but hey, you've spec'd your machine accordingly. I have Ultimate 32 bit on my laptop and it runs fine. It takes a little getting used to, but I find it more polished than XP. Overall, I'm glad I have this laptop. AJ
  22. I thought they stopped doing that...I could be very wrong. I thought they had some good hearts (and minds ) to realized they were hurting their customers. Don't get me wrong, I love McDonald's (I go once every few months), but I thought they wised up about the Jumbo/Super sizing bit. If you've seen Supersize Me, it might make you not want McDonald's for a few weeks. AJ
  23. Those Pentium Dual Cores are stripped down Core 2's. I think. @ YoKenny...please, seriously consider a graphics card. Even with 4 GBs of RAM, you'll be annoyed. What resolution is your monitor at? I'll recommend a decent one. If you don't play games ( I'm assuming you don't) you still want something better than the integrated graphics on the motherboard. AJ
