can you try without trim.bat? just copy [DOMStore*] entry and put in an empty winapp2.ini file now you only have 1 entry in winapp2.ini so there no need to use trim.bat report back here if the entry appear or not in ccleaner

it is safe unless under certain circumstances here what i do and suggest you to follow clean on the next start if you schedule ccleaner to run on startup or shutdown, disable until next start

just a suggestion maybe dev can add option to reset the setting back to default for the installer (disable by default) plus option to reset the cleaning rule (disable by default)

did you run registry cleaner? latest ccleaner does not support win 10 yet
