  1. Both, sounds like you're running two firewalls; you shouldn't do that.
  2. In all honesty, if they are damaged then they are unusable, deep scan shows more files but the majority of them will be damaged. There are some specialized programs to fix certain broken files.
  3. What symbol is shown in the bottom of the tools>cookies tab when you highlight s.uicdn.com

    Browsing History.

Be sure both browsers are exited before cleaning
  5. Is ccleaner running while you try to update?
  6. 6 Years ago I answered a simular thread by saying Today I'm going to direct the developers to this thread so it can be answered by them
  7. Likely these entries are from your antivirus. You really shouldn't remove everything suggest by ccleaner registry section. Only remove what you know you don't need.
  8. I'm not sure I understand, what "windows 10 crap" are you referring to? 5.26 works fine in my win7 machine.

I'm not quite sure I understand the question; your image is showing a summary. Do you mean detailed view?
  10. The cookies section of ccleaner allows you to choose any cookies that you want and put them in cookies to keep. Since the only one you care about is the opt out one I'd suggest not bothering with intelligent cookie (I don't use the intelligent scan, myself).
  11. Which is the same information we gave you in june of 2015
  12. Intelligent cookie checks to see if any are known sign in cookies and auto moves those cookies to the cookies to keep column (example google's cookie). For some this is good because they'll lose less 'sign in's in their 1st clean
  13. You can install on one pc at a time, so as long as you no longer use the old one you'll be fine
  14. Install the downloadable free versions and put your registration into them should be all you need to do.
  15. Unless the phone can connect to the computer as a drive (with a letter) then recuva cannot help you. Android removed the ability to connect as a drive so it's unlikely that your phone will be able to do this.
  16. Other in the specific tool you found, Ccleaner, as I stated, should only be removing SRP if you're wiping freespace. Wiping freespace fills the drive, when a drive is filled windows deletes points to make more room. So if points are being removed without your express permission (by using the tool) I'd say uncheck wipe freespace in the advanced section, on the first (windows) tab
  17. Enable the last? You can't. Ccleaner won't remove the last point. Why are your points disappearing after 24 hours, are you wiping freespace in ccleaner everyday?
  18. Is the software for windows 7. iirc win7 used battery settings in power, when a ups is detected.
  19. Days like this I wish our like/thanks button worked. Good job
  20. Do you mean from a usb or have ccleaner clean the usb mounted drive? If the former, yes. use portable from http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds . If the latter, not without making your own ruleset (winapp2.ini winsys2.ini)
  21. The only feature that could come close to doing this is the drive wiper tool. It has, in order to delete your drive, to be set in a way that makes clear it is wiping the entire drive. If you only use the cleaner section of ccleaner entire drive deletion will not and cannot occur
  22. As far as the developers have informed the moderators I've not heard that the project was no more.
  23. Just to be sure. Chrome needs to not be set to sync history, also make sure cloud print is turned off. If chrome is running (including cloud sync and cloud print) ccleaner may not have access to the databases needed for cleaning
  24. It's on github right? Does this help https://help.github.com/articles/dealing-with-line-endings/
  25. ie11 is changed since it was first released. This is done through windows updates. They at some point of the 11 began to treat history and cache differently from how it previously had been. This causes issues with the way cleaners, such as ccleaner, can get to the information and remove it.
