  1. YES! I DELETED IT! Used the FileAssassin Tool from MBAM. It deleted the file!
  2. Can't do it. I still get the error.
  3. System Restore didn't work. HELP!
  4. I'm going to try a system restore later and see if that works. Btw, that file isn't doing anything, and it hasn't done anything either. I just can't click on it.
  5. Here's a screenshot: Pls help I'm kind of freaking out right now.
  6. There's a file called clip0001 in my My Documents folder and if I click on it, my i get an error message and Explorer restarts. Anyone know what's happening? And is there any way I can delete this file without clicking it? I don't think I have a virus since NOD32 isn't detecting anything. Also a Quick Scan with MBAM came out clean.
  7. Okay I ran the Flush Software Distribution folder with the Yes option, and everything is running perfectly.
  8. I finally read the whole thing lol! Forgot to mention, I also bookmarked it.
  9. Yeah, that is awful, getting beaten to death.
  10. Me either. In fact, I've never gotten a BSOD before (and hopefully I never will).
  11. Lol awesome 404 page. Does it keep talking and talking in the box?
  12. No problem. Btw, did you delete the Automatic Update history files also in the SoftwareDistribution folder? The Windows Update website might be getting it's info about updates on your computer from those files, so maybe it's still thinking you have IE8 downloaded, since your Update history files don't change unless something gets downloaded or installed through Windows Update/Automatic Updates (I think).
  13. Did you restart your computer before you went to the Windows Update Website? Maybe the computer hasn't been "refreshed" yet, so the Windows Update website still thinks you have IE8 on your computer.
  14. Thanks for the theme Mr.Brownstone. That theme is simply beautiful! Also goes really well with my background.
  15. Wow Mr.Brownstone what theme is that for your XP desktop? It looks awesome! Also inside your window in your XP desktop, how did you get the area with the back and forward buttons to be like what it is on your desktop? It looks amazing!
  16. So using the Flush Software Distribution folder with the Yes option is safe?
  17. Lol that was pretty funny! Nice link JD.
  18. I have about 300 mb of stuff in that folder, and nothing is wrong on my computer, so is it ok if I use Dial-a-fix to empty out that folder? Or will emptying out that folder cause any types of problems for me in the future (sorry about my paranoia, I have my comp in a perfect state don't want to mess it up).
  19. Don't use Avira, but thanks for the update Ishan. Any change log type stuff?
  20. The newest Chromium version has that in the Options >> Personal Stuff, and there's a Themes section in it, and if you click on the Get Themes button, it leads you to that site.
  21. Icedrake

    Freeware!

CamStudio: www.camstudio.org Great program for screen capturing, I like it better than HyperCam.
  22. Here's where you can find system restore on Vista: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vis...system-restore/
  23. When you get to the folder customization area, click on the Change Icon button at the bottom and then when you get that selection of Microsoft icons, there is a button called Browse just above them. Click on that and that will allow you to choose your own icon.
