  1. Open FF Portable's options area, then click on the Advanced button, and you'll be in the General section which has a button to check if Firefox Portable is your default browser. Click the Check Now button and click Yes. (I think that works, if not check the link I gave in my previous post).
  2. Use the option in FF that makes it the default browser? Also have a look here.
  3. 1. Maybe this might help? Clicky! 2. Download the Addon (to a place like your desktop) >> Open Firefox Portable >> Go to Add-ons, then the Extensions area >> Then drag & drop the addon you downloaded onto the Extensions area and it'll install. 3. Make a backup from FF2, and import that backup into FF3. (Use the FEBE extension, as I don't think FF2 comes with a default bookmark backup option).
  4. Yeah, I think so. Nothing about the browser is different other than it being portable.
  5. Andavari do you need a screenshot for the error you get in Chromium/Chrome? I can give you one if you want.
  6. Icedrake

    Freeware!

What about performance? Like memory usage, processor usage etc. etc.?
  7. You can always use the portable version of Chromium so you can install it where ever you want. I prefer portable versions of web browsers actually, to not portable versions.
  8. Yep you can do that. All of my web browsers are portable, and I've had no problems. They work just as well as if you installed them on your computer.
  9. Okay, I'll keep both of them on.
  10. Hold on I'll test it. EDIT: Doesn't work on Chromium either. (The error messages are different but they still don't work).
  11. I've been using both for a while now, and I just wondered recently, which one is better? I've heard lots of people having problems with System Restore such as it failing to restore to a previous restore point. And I've never heard of ERUNT having any problems. So, is it better to leave them both on, or keep just System Restore on, or keep just ERUNT on.
  12. I haven't noticed anything like that on my FF 3.6 Alpha 1. Could you give me some examples of where I might get that problem? To test if I get it? EDIT: Just tested it and I get those bugs.
  13. Well it depends on the user, so there isn't really a "best" set of settings. Btw, if you want to disable the nag screen that comes up when you update, have a read here: http://www.elitekiller.com/files/disable_antivir_nag.htm
  14. Actually, I think Auslogics Reg Cleaner is really good (I like it better than CCleaner's no offence). It works really well and it hasn't caused any problems for me. CCleaner's is good though I think.
  15. Man it seems like they keep adding new themes. I just looked again today and I noticed some more new themes.
  16. Thanks for the link Jamin. Looks like a good site for wallpapers that's malware free.
  17. My Opinion for your first post: 1. Use an AntiVirus. For free, I recommend either Avast or Avira. For paid, I highly recommend NOD32, and Avira Premium (they are the best). Remember, only use 1 of these products. Using 2 at the same time can cause conflicts. 2. Use an AntiSpyware. I recommend MalwareBytes AntiMalware, or SuperAntiSpyware. You can use both of them in this case if you want, but I prefer to use MBAM (I just like it better). 3. Use a HOSTS file. I use the MVPS Hosts file. 4. Use SpywareBlaster, small but very effective. 5. Use a firewall if you want. I've got a hardware firewall, so I don't use a software firewall, just the default Windows Firewall and my hardware firewall. --------------------------------------------------------------- For your other posts: I like both Auslogics and IOBIT, both are excellent defraggers. I've also heard of Glary Utilities, and lots of people having trouble after using it. I only use Auslogics Boostspeed. Best system optimizer out there (my opinion). You do have to pay for it though but I got it for free through an offer Auslogics had on their website which is now gone (I think).
  18. www.cheese.com Just kidding. I like www.nationalgeographic.com, and www.bing.com
  19. If you download Chrome from the Google Pack it installs to program files.
  20. OMG IT'S HER AGAIN! *Runs away yelling and hides in a corner* Like Corona said, that person was banned a long time ago and we all got that PM.
  21. Yeah same here. It's blazingly fast and even faster than my Chromium!

  23. Yeah. Like DAT files have the WMP icon associated with them. Weird.
