    comodo

I'm also not a fan of Comodo. It creates a lot of issues whenever I run their Comodo Firewall on my computer.
  2. I replied "Wtf... Um... No thank you..." when I first checked my Inbox and had that message. Am I in danger now?
  3. First one I've ever had too. Creepy.
  4. Icedrake

    Spam

Wtf I got that too! Added he/her to ignore list.
  5. Just switched to this version of Opera from FF 3.5. For me, Opera 10 Beta 2 seems faster than FF 3.5.
  6. Sounds promising. Weather I will test it or not depends on what other people think of it after they've tested it out.
  7. I know there is more life out there; maybe not in our galaxy, but I'm pretty sure there's life in the other thousands, and thousands of other galaxies that exist.
  8. I've been waiting for this release for a long time! Finally!
  9. After I uninstalled MW with it's uninstaller, I did both.
  10. Ok, thanks for all the help guys. MW is uninstalled and gone!
  11. Yeah I know, but I'm not sure if I should delete that folder or not.
  12. Okay, I uninstalled it, and there's still a folder left in Program Files called Microsoft Works in which most of it's stuff has been deleted by the uninstaller of Works. There are only a few files left, so I tried to delete the folder, and it gives me a dialog box saying: "Moving, renaming or deleting "Microsoft Works" could make some programs not work. Are you sure you want to do this?" Should I still delete the folder? Or should I just leave it?
  13. Yeah, once a week is good. In my opinion, once a month is too long, and once a day is too frequent. So once a week is just right.
  14. I've got Microsoft Works 8 installed, and I don't use it because I'm using Office. I was wondering if it was ok to uninstall Microsoft Works, and if it will affect my computer in a bad way.
  15. That's what I'm using right now. In fact, I don't have any of my web browsers installed. I have portable versions of them on my flash drive.
  16. Man it's so annoying when people revive ancient topics back from the dead.
  17. I found a very complete and useful guide about FF 3.5 that explains everything about it, and the best thing is the author keeps the guide updated with every new major FF release, like 1, 2, 3 and now 3.5. etc. etc. It's also got a few pages complete with a lot of About:Config tweaks for FF. Now, here's the link: Link: http://www.tweakguides.com/Firefox_1.html
  18. Install Nightly Tester Tools, and in your addons area, if you have any addons that can't run because of compatibility issues, there should be a button in the corner of the addons box next to the Find Updates button called something like Force Compatibility. Press that and restart FF, and now all of your addons should work. If you still can't figure it out, take a look at this video: The guy's using FF 2, but it's still basically the same procedure in FF 3.5.
  19. I found a new image hosting site that's free and very fast: http://www.imgur.com/ I'm using this image hosting site for now; it's very simple, and it's maximum size for an image that you can upload is 10 mb (way higher than all of the other image sites I've been to). Btw, here's my image:
  20. So basically, if you switch from one version of FF to a newer version, and your extensions from the old version aren't working with the new version, you can use this tool to force compatibility so your extensions work in the new version.
  21. Good news for people who are waiting for Windows 7: Link: http://www.askvg.com/windows-7-set-to-rtm-...ity-this-month/
  22. Never happens to me. FF scans my downloads after it's completed downloading.
