I've updated the link in my previous post. It should be correct now. Thank you.
By the way Jenny, at that site the link goes to, there is a link to Trustpilot (bottom left of page) which leads to a 404

Using the trial version downloaded just now please note that the download size of Kamo is 135MB.
As far as I can see Kamo is a rename/variation of Trackoff which Avast purchased last year.
At the moment the uninstaller is not signed so you may have issues with your AV when you uninstall it.
Only Internet Explorer and Legacy Edge are supported it seems.
By default Kamo is set to run when you boot your machine.
Default whitelisted cookies are ccleaner, Piriform, Avast and AVG.
If you highlight a cookie from the suggested whitelist you can click add and it moves into the left-hand side. However removing a website from the list doesn't seem possible even though there is a bin you can click on. I tried highlighting a website and clicking on the bin, moving it to the other side and then highlighting and clicking on the bin. No matter what I did it stayed in the list.
This software needs a lot of work.
Not for me I'm afraid.

Having tested Kamo extensively when it first came out I would suggest that you go through ALL of the settings carefully.

Glad to hear you are sorted now

That worked. Thanks very much for the instructions. That process is certainly not intuitive.

Had free version on 2 laptops. Purchased prop plus. Registered fine. How do I get it on the 2nd laptop? Keep in mind there is a free version already running on the 2nd laptop. If I try to upgrade, it wants me to pay again. If I go to CCleaner and try to purchase the pro plus plan again, it wants to charge me again. I cannot find a phone number for support. This is bulls**t! Do they really not have any support that I can talk to?
Have a read here
Any problems just post back.

Can I just ask if you have tried the slim build from here? (last on in list)
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
Also have you tried updating Windows to 19042.630 ?
You should not have to disable your Anti-virus to install CCleaner. Also Defender will disable itself anyway when you install another AV.

See here, it should be fixed. Perhaps check your settings again? Also do you have CC set to run at boot in Options...Settings

Google translate....
The translator did very well, Thank you.
Unfortunately, I was unable to install the new version, the installation has stopped. The installer window lists Skipped: CCkleaner.exe.
I don't understand what "Skipped" means - that this file is missing. From Explorer, you can see that this file, 25.5 MB in size, is in the CCkleaner output folder
The installer information says to delete the CheckUpdate .log file. In fact, there is no AppData subfolder in the\ Users \ pc1 folder where the file to be deleted should be located.
In the message "Error opening file for writing", no buttons work - the installer has hung up. I will have to shut down my computer by doing a hard reset. I'll try to reinstall tomorrow.
Maybe start by uninstalling version 5.73?By the way: In the No open… window there are two names for the same action (Cancel - Abort). Maybe it would be good to standardize them?
Today I registered but I managed to register some time. When asked how much "C" is, I wrote "2", I corrected it twice, then I wrote "two", at the end "two" and it worked. It would be good to say: in English.
best regards

A few days ago CC Proff was updated to version 5.73.8130 and now every minute, more or less, a window appears for a few seconds with the information: CClaner has been updated to version 5.73.8130. Is something loops somewhere?

Version 5.74 was released but this bug was still not fixed. It is there back to version 5.72.
I just want to know it it will be fixed in a future version or not? It is frustrating to click those boxes and error windows appears.
Perhaps @MeganCCleaner will reply as she was able to replicate your issue

Open command prompt (you must right-click run as admin) and run
winsat formal (then press enter)
This will run a Windows Performance test which will re-assess and reset your drive status/type and show it for what it really is. It will take a little while to run let it complete.
...note.............. winsat formal is not a typo.
It should NOT be winsat format.

If you are using Windows 10 open Task Manager.
Click on Performance Tab.
Then look at Disc in the list to see what Windows thinks it is.

You haven't heard of that? A 10 second search results in more than one person with this exact same issue. Including me. Surely there's a canned fix for this without having to go through a back and forth with your support?
Please post in this thread where @MeganCCleaner will deal with it for you.

Microsoft is rolling out a new tool called 'Resources monitor' that will allow you to free up resources in Windows 10 using Xbox's Game Bar.
This new resources monitor works just like the traditional Task Manager, but it sits on top of running games and allows you to kill background processes without having to leave your game
