Unusual fix, Keep an "ear" on it though as when I set my sound to more speakers that I have. 3D sounds/voices seemed to go to speakers that didn't exist, and I missed definition and voices...

maybe they only need to undo so far.... carefully see if it will slide and uncatch...

With the amount of newbie pc users who use this program, I don't think it would be a good idea to disable this check, the small annoyance to you is worth it IMHO. And if you don't use the backup feature I hope you have another way of restoring the registry. I know ccleaner is a very safe cleaner and I've been using "fix all" for years now, I still do the backup just in case. Then clean those up every few months, it's not like they take a lot of room.

Brianeclus I use WLM and use CC frequently, even used all the advanced options, and never had an issue with CC deleting the account info. Have you customized CC? added folders to clean? or use any other cleaners? Do you have the same problem with the latest version?

I thought we figured out ccleaner ignored the "Secure Deletion" for WFS, and that ccleaner only uses one pass of 0's to wipe free space, and only uses the secure delete for actual files you are deleting. Which is also what other users are complaining about, they want it to do more passes.
