  1. Yes, but no one in Switzerland does, whereas it seems most US people do
  2. Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it (in Switzerland we don't)
  3. I never use Photobucket - I hate it when you see an old webpage full of Photobucket "Image Removed because it was too old" images. This never happens with other image uploaders
  4. There actually are people using ClamWin as their primary AV solution? If I remember correctly, they still haven't implemented real-time scanning of files...
  5. Two things: Firstly, you didn't pay for Defraggler. Secondly, the only difference is two checkboxes in the installer. Unless you're on dial-up, nothing will change.
  6. Ceci ?tant un forum anglophone, je vais traduire... Les fichiers ?taient-ils dans l'?tat "Excellent" ? (le petit rond est vert) ---------------- Here's what he said translated in English:
  7. Unless you badly need hard drive space, deleting Shadow Copies and Restore Points is not a good idea...just sayin'.
  8. Win7 has TRIM support built-in, and most SSD firmware implement it if the OS doesn't support it.
  9. There is no such thing as improving SSD performance using defragging methods - and a "SSD Optimizer" tool doesn't belong to a defrag tool. Besides, automagically improving a drive's speed by 917382624% is impossible.
  10. Thumbs up to you. Skins are useless - running CCleaner more than one time a day is either overkill or having too much free time.
  11. The less toolbars the better...
  12. Did you try using another browser? If they are still able to track you, then it is something "inside" Ebay
  13. Most people who were in the OOo project but not Sun employees went to LibreOffice instead. It seems Oracle wants to continue the work, but they'll have to do way more than a minor version...
  14. You should try it. It takes a little time to get used to it, but I just can't go back to OOo or Office 2003 now
  15. The OOo developpement has been stopped in response to Oracle. OOo/LibreOffice is not really in a nice position ; they are technically inferior to MSO in every way, thus their only possible users are the ones who don't want to pay for MSO, and the ones who don't like the Ribbon If Oracle really wanted to hurt Microsoft, they could, but...
  16. Well, defragging free space should prevent files from being too much fragmented. Theoretically
  17. Linux will stay safe as long as the percentage of unpatched Windows is greater than the percentage of PCs on Linux.
  18. Uh...that's called overkill. Wiping the entire drive is not a PC maintenance task.
  19. This is good news. But, as usual, anti-trust lawyers will do everything they can to make sure the consumer is screwed.
  20. Or you can download the Slim installer: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
  21. I don't think the Windows EULA is very different, honestly. All those EULAs are to save their ass if something goes wrong. And all companies are limited by the fact they can't do anything since it would destroy their reputation (*cough* Amazon and their e-books deletion....*cough*)
  22. Having a fragmented free space will not reduce the amount of free space available

    C:\?

You can choose where it will recover them ; it is a good idea not to recover them on the same drive they were previously as this can lower the chances of recovering them (they could be overwritten by themselves, if you see what I mean)
  24. This looks like a Linux distro...
