  2. do you have DNS cache checked off. if so that might be the reason
  3. This is NOT the Place to ask this, please start a thread. This is a Place for the Developers to post the embedded ini. All of the ones you've asked for have been asked for previously (and at least one, safari, is already supported). Please search the forum before posting a new thread.
  4. for the word "not working" check that this is correct (as I said it is on my install of word 2000 but that may be from another app (outlook 2003 is on that machine too) FileKey1=%appdata%\Microsoft\Office\Recent|*.*
  5. Can you run REGEDIT.exe? if so you can import the .reg files from that interface. . . why the heckaroony is the trustedinstaller restriction there that's pretty darn silly if you are the admin of the machine
  6. You should let the maker of Autocomplete Pro know of this issue.
  7. Lucky for me I age backwards tomorrow I is a zygot of .000000000147652*10(to the -65)
  8. Yup, that's what I said too. Mean yes they are driving around with a powerful set of sniffers but 1) Protect your wifi citizentry 2) how you (google) not gonna dump the data you don't need from the get-go much less how did you manage to program sniffers into your camera trucks...and not know?!
  9. No I just checked, it'll go back to the option when you quit and start the program back up this is getting confusing so 1) Checkmark in OPtions show detailed 2) Exit 3) Start ccleaner again 4) Run cleaner or analysis 5) shows in details 6) click summary 7) Exit 8) Start ccleaner again 9) Run cleaner or analysis 10) shows in details
  10. Are you using the TACO plugin? if so firefox will recreate those each launch. . . also if it doesn't show them when ff is open it's because ccleaner can't clean or even read ff databases when they are open
  11. Darnit I was ninja'd I was going to say the samething
  12. Okaaaay then here we go (can you test it to see if it works?) 13. It'll do a lot of good, Norton and ALL Antivirus providers want/need/have-to-have customer feedback on false postives, I submit mine to Symantec (the business arm of Norton) all the time and they immediatly fix it for their next release. Remember many/most antivirus products (especially Norton/Symantec) use Heuristics to identify viruses they may not know. Ccleaner has code in it that tell the registry to delete entries, to uninstall programs and other such behavior that on a code end looks much like the action of viruses/trojans thus the installer gets red flaged often. . . you'll notice that rarely (if ever) the Portable version (already unpacked from intaller and placed in a zip file) gets False postived, nor does the program itself .

I think, if a person does not put their location out for the public (which can be seen next to their post) then it would be the same thought process behind their local time; if they do make their location public, well then there is no reason to "get some idea of where in the world (s)he (is)".
  15. Moderators, Please move this to Defraggler discussion. THANks

  17. The Interface to Add more program is there. This is called Winapp2.ini (a link to information is in my signature field) That said to add this infomation, one would need to usderstand what it is that needs to be cleaned. . . one cannot just say I want this program cleaned. . . point at the program and (as indent indicated you seem to be thinking)expect ccleaner to know what needs cleaning.
  18. All versions of all Piriform products are free. It's been written some that files recently removed via Recycle bin don't show on recuva. . . but I can't remember any more than that so someone else'll have to fill in the lines
  19. Please in CCleaner, go to Options and check off Store settings in INI file, then post your ini file here
  20. Checking Administrator will tell the program to ALWAYS ask for UAC in vista and Win7 (you don't need to check it because CCleaner is already programmed to do that.) Here is a short tutorial on making a program run without UAC prompt (they use ccleaner as an example) http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11949-elevated-program-shortcut-without-uac-prompt-create.html
  21. To Clarify: If you downloaded Recuva from either this website or File Hippo, then what you recieved was a false postive. Please report it to the maker of your Antivirus and they shall fix it in the next definition file. If you downloaded it from anywhere else (besides Piriform or File Hippo) it may well be infected. Please let us know from where you downloaded Recuva.
  22. Fix what problem? did you backup the registry? p.s. ccleaner removes nothing you don't tell it to. Please read my signature
