  1. A response to Sn0wX. Thank you for your “colourful” input, albeit wrong. Registry editors have been around for decades now, and, used properly can restore lost performance in operating systems that get filled with clutter and dead file associations. I have been using registry editors since Microsoft Windows 98SE, and manually editing registries since Windows 3.11. Jumping to present day, I perform many custom mods and customizations to my OS’s and sometimes residual entries are inevitable. Registry cleaners are by no means a magic wand to cure OS ailments, but they c
  2. It would be at shut down, just as CCleaner (and many other programs) run at shutdown via batch program. This is because my registry undergoes heavy changes each session and as a result, many registry entries have removed value data, invalid file extensions and missing file references. 4. Thanks for the heads-up! I'll keep a lookout for the next release.
  5. Ever since version v.5.45.6611, when I right-click on my Windows 7 Recycle bin and select Run CCleaner, I see CCleaner running in the taskbar icon notification area for only 1 second, then it shuts down without emptying the Recycle Bin. I have to do this as much as 8 times for it to work. Does anyone else have this issue? Until this is resolved, I have gone back to v.5.44.6575.
