Computeractive is a UK magazine that is published fortnightly, and has been around since early 1998, I started buying it from issue 6 onwards and have bought every issue since. Every fortnight they include at least one, sometimes two links to well known programs (albeit, older versions), the intention is that you will like it and pay to upgrade to the latest version. The registration link will always be to the software manufacturers website. I get a lot of paid for software this way, it is the only paid for software that I ever use.

Yes, you are correct. To overwrite files and erase the unused portion of your hard drive you can use: Eraser

Looks like you are out of luck hosting your site yourself then. Btw, I checked the 2 IP addresses that you have been using and noticed they were both Comcast ones, so I guessed you had restarted your router or something.

Nope! In the last week you have posted using at least 2 IP addresses btw, so you either used different computers or have a dynamic IP address.

A static IP address is one that nevers changes, a dynamic IP address changes everytime you restart your router or modem as a new IP address is assigned to you by your ISP then. You normally pay a premium for a static one.

You will also need a static IP address and no bandwidth restrictions on your broadband account Aaron.

Hopefully you mean a Thomson SpeedTouch 330 modem, then you can download the software here: http://www.speedtouch.co.uk/330.asp Although you might want to check your ISP's site first, in case they have an ISP specific set up disk.
