There are no settings in CCleaner to delete emails.
Have you chosen any custom files and folders to delete?
Is this using just the cleaner or the 'issues' registry cleaner?
What is your operating system and build of CCleaner?
momoftom, if you have a look at post 4 in this thread

You will see why Recuva does not work on Fat16.

my favourites are (if you can call malware your favourite!) are the IRCbot, and in the spam plants section it's the last one.
Re-authoring means cutting out the adverts, trailers for up and coming movies, long lists of credits, special bonus features etc.
In other words you tell the program just to copy the movie only.
My reg entries under that key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserAssist\{75048700-EF1F-11D0-9888-006097DEACF9}\Count
look like the ones here, they are encrypted with Rot13

I hope you are right about that Davey!!
If I understand you muratdeniz, you DID NOT make a backup when CCleaner asked you to.
You cannot use the computer at all now after you tried a system recovery.
You cannot boot into safe mode and choose last know good config.
You cannot use system restore.
You must be brave and tell someone where you work.
These things happen sometimes to computers.
Hello westwinger51
It may be an idea to uninstall this version if you are having problems.
When you get to the download page (mentioned 2 posts up) go to the builds at the right hand side, choose which one you want and click on it. Now click the big download this version arrow above it, this downloads the setup you choose from the list.
If you are vista, don't go too far back down the versions!
If you renamed the back up as something with a name to help you remember it before you use it, it will be saved as an ordinary file type.
If that is so in your case, just rename again and add the .reg ending which is the default for registration entries.
You will need to give more info.
XP or Vista?
Did you do a registry clean and make no backup when asked if you wanted to?
Have you tried system restore?
Not a good idea to mess with a computer that belongs to the boss.

Also if you click on CCleaner Discussion it is near the top under important topics.
The ideal would be if it was incorporated into the program, the compiler moderator Twisted Metal, has but a lot of effort and knowledge into it all in his own time.
