  1. I use Avir AntiVir Premium on my XP Home system and Avir AntiVir Free on my old PIII system and they work great. The pictures have to be quite small and are loaded with the Avatar Settings: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=24
  2. I'm trying it on the old PIII with AntiVir and it seems to work but there are reports that it causes hangups.
  3. Have a try with Add/Remove Programs then these steps: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=175239
  4. Dukmiester2, I don't think I would use the term for Winapp2.ini file as "unsupported" but as User Enhanced extras for CCleaner to clean.
  5. Go to CCleaner Folder and delete CCleaner.ini when CCleaner is not running. Well you could make a backup before you delete it.
  6. I'm sure glad I'm not infected by Firefox.

  13. I guess I'm a bit thick but I don't see anything different.
  14. I'm using Opera 10 but I'll try to figure this out.
  15. Wishing Y'All the most Merriest and Happiest Christmas and New Years Y'hear
  16. I vote for no Win98 support. Win98 will not be supported on anti virus applications in 2009 so why should CCleaner support this dying operating system. RIP MS-DOS 1.0-6.0, Win3.1, Win95, Win98, Win98SE and WinME.
  17. I like Tweak UI: http://www.microsoft.com/Windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx I don't have Vista so I don't know if this is OK: http://www.codejacked.com/a-tweakui-for-vista
  18. IE8 beta 2 is out and works great.
  19. Date last accessed? With the minuscule amount of the hard drive space that would be saved, why bother. Making the Temporary Internet Files ( TIF ) storage much smaller and System Restore only 2-5% makes much more sense.
  20. He's on his way: Coming up on eastern Europe: http://www.noradsanta.org/en/home.html
  21. What are you using to download CCleaner? What operating system and Service Pack level are you running?
  22. I guess it is good for those folks with the Etch-A-Sketch era 'puters

  24. This is a bad trend as hpHost forum suffered a similar attack: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7289 <== Membership required to see this I believe
  25. I don't keep Web shortcuts but I do have a lot in my Favorites and the icons are stored in FavIcons that are cleared when the Temporary Internet Files cache is cleared. I use AM-Deadlink to keep the FavIcons for my Favorites. http://www.aignes.com/deadlink.htm
