It's all to do with the update to the Invision software that the forum is hosted on, Invision started doing it earlier today.

You'll notice a few differences, at least for a while.

It's actually been "https://community.ccleaner.com" for awhile now. You may also notice things like the Documentation site, etc., have all moved awhile ago also to CCleaner.com.

Indeed, but there was a redirect if you had the old 'forum.piriform.com' address saved in your favourites/bookmarks.

It's that redirect that has been removed during the forum software upgrade.

Correct. I guess it's a good time for people with bookmarks that are saved to spend a few minutes tidying them up, for instance make sure they use the secure "https://" and that the sites actually still work after changing them, some sites still use the insecure "http://".

Yup. I wondered what happened to the "old" forum and Google led me here.  Updated the bookmark.

I don't think the updating is done just yet! There's also no themes to change the forum coloring which the moderation team has complained about.

The certificate for the old address was renewed yesterday, see the link that Hazelnut gives above.

The block is no longer happening. (The licence for the old address has been renewed).

it looks like its not renewed https://forum.piriform.com/

ff + ms chrome edge + palemoon + iron blocking the redirection. it works with exception-rules

Yes, it's odd that the redirect was working OK for me yesterday in both Firefox and Edge Chrome, but today (Sunday) both say again that the certificate is still out of date?

TBH most should have updated their bookmarks to the new address by now, and it should only be a problem for old 3rd party webpages that may still have links to the old one.
