  1. That's the kind of issue I was wondering about. I think I'll leave it unchecked for now until I better understand what gets cleaned.
  2. Should I now check the Firefox Site Preferences option in addition to checking Cookies?
  3. Thanks @hazelnut , got it. Hope Mike's doing okay.
  4. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike.
  5. The update nags are getting really annoying. I am using the Slim version.
  6. I must be missing something. I've taken those steps but still get the reminder.
  7. That's why I didn't use hostman years ago. How do I disable that "feature?" Also, the hostman version on the MVPS website is: HostsMan_4.7.105.zip I found that I had an old saved copy from 2019 that is a later version: HostsMan_4.8.106_installer.zip I'm not sure which to use.
  8. I think the URL to the MVPS website is coded into HostsXpert. Not sure I can change that. I ended up doing it manually.
  9. Strange. I tried to update using HostsXpert like usual and I get an error that says it cannot connect to the website. I'll have to try again later.
  10. Yup. I wondered what happened to the "old" forum and Google led me here. Updated the bookmark.
  11. FWIW Mozilla just told us it will use Rust directly within Firefox rather than in a separate Servo project: "Going forward, we will be writing many new browser components in Rust directly in Firefox rather than in a separate project." Tweet from The Register:

  14. Keeping my fingers crossed that HostsXpert continues to work.
  15. Thanks for the reminder @hazelnut Got it downloaded & installed.
  16. I'm holding off after reading this zdnet article: https://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-10-2004-were-already-looking-into-these-10-issues-says-microsoft/
  17. After reading this zdnet article, I will NOT be installing Windows 10 2004 even though it's sitting on my PCs ready to be downloaded and installed. https://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-10-2004-were-already-looking-into-these-10-issues-says-microsoft/
  18. Thanks @hazelnut that did it. I had already unchecked the option in the OneNote Options, but the second part of checking the Windows Startup folder is where I found the .lnk file. I deleted it and it no longer appears in the CCleaner Startup tab or in Task Manager Startup tab.
  19. I disable it in Task Manager, but it keeps coming back Enabled and I can't delete it from there.
  20. Why can I not delete the Send to OneNote.lnk from Win 10 Startup? I have another Win 10 PC and this entry doesn't even appear.
  21. I use HostsXpert to update, so I didn't even see the date type-o on the website.
  22. AOMEI Partition Assistant says they can do it, but I've never needed to try it myself. https://www.diskpart.com/articles/recover-files-from-unallocated-space-0310.html
  23. Same result for my Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD installed in a Lenovo T490.
