Moderators DennisD Posted September 7, 2010 Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2010 I'm sure Marmite won't object to me letting you guys know that I've just heard from him, and he's obviously been snowed under with stuff. It was good to hear from him, and it would be wrong of me not to mention this as I know a lot of you guys were wondering. It brought a smile to my face. Moderators Nergal Posted September 7, 2010 Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2010 Woo Hoo thanks for the update ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Ishi
What I really want to know is what happened to him why he was gone for a few months. Anyways, good to hear that he's alright, apparently. I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE.
