Moderators DennisD Posted June 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2009 Flaming June they call it. It's definitely started off hot and sunny here in the UK, so do your worst with the summer desktops. Don't forget, thumbnails only and no Image Shack. Thanks. PS. No poll this month. Mays was a miserable response, so I think a poll is pretty much done.

tcoffeep
Fantasy is the celebration of what we no longer are: individuals certain of our meaningfulness in a meaningful world. The wish-fulfillment that distinguishes fantasy from other genres is not to be the all-conquering hero, but to live in a meaningful world. The fact that such worlds are enchanted worlds, worlds steeped in magic, simply demonstrates the severity of our contemporary crisis.Scott R. Bakker, Why Fantasy and Why Now? Corona
Nice one, Abu. That reminds me of those 'false fractals' I used to make many years ago using a trick I learned to do in Bryce 4. Nowadays I forget how it was done, might be cached in Google somewhere. But under the right circumstances I could create images very similar to your desktop. Of course it would take several hours if not days to render a 1680x1050 dtop like that on my old beast. Heh.
