(I am sorry but I don't like Facebook and will never use it.)
Me neither. Next new social site...Facepalm, for all those suckers giving all their info to Facebook.

You mean where every response in a thread will only "relate to/be under" the post they're replying to, instead of every response being chronologically listed throughout? That was the cutting edge of 1998.
If you want to address a certain persons' post just use the typically stolen Tweet configuration "@(name)" and they'll get it. We're big boys and girls here. Except for Andavari. I think he's a brand of peanut butter.

I agree with Andavari.

Well, glad I dodged that bullet a few years ago.

Mr. Ed says "neigh".

I just installed Ghostery as an add-on on my FF. Never heard of it before. Looks interesting.

Internet Explorer and children to me would equal an infected system in no time at all!
Yeah, what with all their boogers and germs.

Ideally, smart meters will one day communicate with your washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, and other energy intensive devices, allowing you to control energy usage, and potentially off-loading use to times when energy is cheap.
No, the idea is for the utility companies to control your energy usage, not you. And they'll be doing that because of government regulations.

Is there a Playboy one?

Aren't network speeds dependent on the companies that control them or the underwater cables (maybe satellites) they're connected to?
-
Yeah, because you have no choice but to route through Calcutta instead of the UK or US. Are you in Nepal or what?

So I win.

I'll stick with Adblocker Plus and NoScript.

I can't believe all these years there are people who've used FF for that long and have never heard of Adblock Plus.
-
I use FF, but Opera has more configurable features than FF in its appearance and functionality than FF will ever have.
Opera is VERY good, if you know how to manipulate it. If you don't, don't bother. You're not worth it.

I have MozBackup. I could regroup, but I'm thinking is it worth the hassle.

I still have an old PS1 and the 1st 6 Tomb Raider games. Haven't played them in many years. Some levels are tough as nails even with the cheat codes. But still fun.

If I install it, will it install over my current FF8.0? It sounds like it has to because it says all extensions will work...I think?

A pepper is a vegetable. And boy did UC Berkerly get a mighty dose of veggies recently.

Yes Hazelnut!
I play hidden object/adventure games via Big Fish Games.
-
Thanks for the tip, Hazelnut. I'll bring you a pack of cigs tomorrow.

I haven't used Adaware in about a decade.

Is Shockwave used for anything anymore?

I just read that article, Alan. Good read. I've learned over the past few years to almost memorize the 'junk' I leave in the hive via CCleaner. Obviously .dll's are a given "do not touch' approach. I've recognized a few 'rebuild again on startup' files that I don't bother with anymore. Anything marked MS or HP (Hewlett Packard, my PC) I don't touch. The only new apps I upload are basically online casual games. Their file titles pop up by game name so I know I can safely delete them.
Are there any forum display options?

It's not Jiffy. It's Jif. ("Choosey mothers choose Jif!")
But I buy Skippy peanut butter. Because I'm not a choosey mother.
