Try this winapp.ini file and let me know if both of them work.

If you don't know what it is, I wouldn't mess with it. I don't see any reason to run .dat files if you don't know why.

Without giving it all away... Yes, it's 100% freeware. Just like CCleaner, I guess you even say it sorta ties in with CCleaner. It's a standalone program. It's not a program you would use everyday, but it would save you from time to time. Now, put your thinking caps on...

I can explain this... The idea was to release the new project this year, but it has a bad bug that needs to be fixed. Also, MrG went on Christmas vacation, and I don't even know if he is back yet. Hopefully we will see it in January.

This is a bug or more of a pain... Sometimes firefox does not close itself. Hit Alt+Ctrl+Del, Processes, and end firefox.exe

It's because that version has the Yahoo! Toolbar. You can download the slim version from the official CCleaner site, or just uncheck the box, so you don't install the Yahoo! Toolbar. That's what I do.

Uninstall ccleaner totally and then reinstall it. I don't have this problem.

CCleaner use to have an Exit button, but it was moved after much debate.

It's a bug in 1.35. It will be fixed in the next version.
