  11. Sounds like you have a hanging task/process when you shutdown. Can you shutdown normally when you close BitComet?
  12. First, download this Anti-Malware Package, it contains everything you need to effectively clean your computer. Next, refer to this PC Maintenance website, as it will tell you the settings you need and everything to effectively clean your computer. Then you can post your HijackThis log here if you want.
  13. All disabling them in msconfig does is move them to Run-
  14. Speaking of useless things, why did they invent the Eldmannen? How is that program useless? It deletes registry strings that some unexperienced users may not know how to do via regedit. Maybe to the true IT people it's useless, but to new users they could use it.

  19. Firmware actually sounds logical. Dj knows I had problems with some cd's burning too. I went to my manufacturer's website and was able to get the firmware upgrade. It was very easy to install and apply.

    When it cleans, right click where it says what it has cleaned and you can optionally save a log.
  21. So was it a profile problem? I'm curious cause the feedback helps me learn.
