Adblock does cause a number of problems with Firefox 1.5; including white pages. In fact, the "support" for anything over 1.0.7 is a crock. Adblock is not being developed any longer, so someone took over the project and added more features and fixed the issues it had.
Installing AdBlock+ (which has fixed numerous bugs and works fully with 1.5) resolves all of those issues.

It happens when you edit the File Folder or something of the likes under Folder Options > File Types. Clicking Advanced triggers it to clear out that registry key (which usually will read "none") and thus causes the error.
I just had it happen to me, and it was happening on other forums too. There was even a link to this thread. So I posted the solution in case others come here from other forums.
If CCleaner was made in Delphi, it would be a lot faster, run better, wouldn't need all those VB dependencies, and when UPXed it would probably be around 250KB.
The drag and drop tabs are actually the miniT extension implemented into Firefox.
Use Firetune on Firefox 1.5 and you'll REALLY see how much faster over 1.0.7 it is.
