  1. foolbar sucks. Period. It's just terribly put together. XMPlay has a nice library feature and ways to find songs you want too. Winamp is just as good as far as I'm concerned. Even though AOL bought Nullsoft, doesn't mean it's a bad application. Too many people make that very mistake, and it's so stupid. Just cause AOL owns Nullsoft Winamp, doesn't mean the program is bad at all. Winamp 3 sucked, but Winamp 5 is really good.
  2. Winamp works great; people just think it has memory issues. It takes up less than most applications. XMPlay is nice too. Lightweight, portable and can handle a lot of formats too. People say foobar is good, but I've seen some dirty sides to it. (Which I'm not going to disclose) XMPlay is superior to foolbar because XMPlay can use only 2,000-3,000k memory while playing a song.
  3. They have help forums to help you configure advanced rules as well. And Outpost 3.0 and up has an advisor.
  4. It's the *.sol file. Just uncheck the flash player cleaning. Problem should be solved.
  5. Well, Gibson is a media-whore. He just wants attention.
  6. Log in as the Administrator. Right click Start > Explore All Users. Create a CCleaner folder and put the CCleaner shortcuts there.
  7. He just wants attention, and you said it too. Steve Gibson of GRC, a well-known media whore and PR marketing and self-proclaimed security expert claims that it was not a bug, but an backdoor.
  8. See that's why I hate ZoneAlarm. You can't control the applications very well. Outpost let's you say exact rules.
  9. This is actively being worked on. I've talked with my host and he's already researched it. I urge you guys to contact your ISP's and let them know of the issue.

    Deleting cookies

Then that would be user error. Simply go back to the sites and recreate the cookies, then add them to the keep list. What you're asking for is redundant, sorry.

    Deleting cookies

Anything you don't put in the keep list is deleted everytime you run CCleaner.

    Thunderbird 1.5

Thunderbird is a free, open-source and cross-platform mail client and news reader for most modern operating systems including, but not limited to, Windows, Linux and Macintosh. It offers some advantages over other mail clients, including junk mail classification. Built from Mozilla code, Mozilla Thunderbird uses Gecko, the most standards-compliant rendering engine in existence. In addition to the feature set found in Mozilla Mail, Thunderbird has several new features and improvements to make your mail and new experience better. 13. Ah, never used Enterprise. It's new and mainly for networks.
  14. Outpost Pro seriously owns ZoneAlarm Free and Pro combined. Far more features and control over everything. Compenents change you get notification. Takes a bit of time to learn but it's memory usage is light but amazingly powerful, fast and efficient.
  15. Two versions? Last I checked there's three. Ad-Aware SE Personal, Plus, and Professional.
  16. That's actually a false rumor. The speeds of hard drives are a lot faster than what they used to be. The same with RAM. It's best to (if you have a pagefile) keep it on the same drive/partition as your Windows install.

That is illegal activity. No matter how you try to "justify" it; that is warez.
  18. More than likely they would have the same problems trying to access Lunarsoft.net.
  19. Maybe I should take naps and then answer questions. Surprised that came out of me since i just woke up. Ultimate, CaPMan contacted his ISP (Virgin.net I believe he said). He's actually found a new ISP to switch to and likes what they have to offer, but first he wants to be sure Lunarsoft.net works.
  20. Actually hazelnut, it's nothing at all to do with their software. Great thought though! (I helped CaPMan try to figure this out a few nights ago) The issue seems to be a server along the way when they send data from their computers to the Lunarsoft.net server. Think of it as driving into town to go to the grocery store and you have to go past several stoplights to get there. Along the way, one of the stoplights is out and there is an accident. You're now stuck, can't move ahead or go back really. The same thing is happening to CaPMan and Ultimate Predator. Their ISP's are sending data to Lunarsoft.net, but it hits a server node along the way and cannot continute on, because that server may be down, or some other (currently unknown) reason.
  21. He is (Psst, look at his location). What's your ISP, Ultimate?
  22. Actually, hit the double green checkmark in DAF and let it do everything. Sometimes this can be fixed by using the Shell registration checkmark. Sometimes it can be fixed by using DjLizard's repair permissions script.
