  2. Derek, did you first run a boot time defrag which failed to defrag pagefile.sys?
  3. We need some info. Analyze\ View files. Click the column heading Size. What is the path of the three largest fragged items?

  7. Cpappalardo3, you cannot restore via CCleaner\ Tools\ System Restore. You can only view and delete older points. You must use Windows to restore and create. On Vista and Win7 I access System Restore via the Windows key + Pause-Break key\ System Protection. From where did you download CCleaner?

  9. I use the program, and it's current as of today. Nag free. Are you cleaning the Win Defender logs, which the program may rely upon to determine if a scan is needed? I don't.
  10. Jim, I transfer images from my Coolpix by pulling the card from the camera and inserting into the SD/MMC port, Drive (F:). Recuva will scan if commanded. Recuva 1.49, Win7 x64

    Before defragging did you ensure all these were ticked? . . Did you followup with a Boot Time Defrag? . .
  20. CCleaner\ Tools\ Uninstall right-click and save to text file. Place code tag at the top and foot of text like so, copy and paste all into post.
