  2. Hello babacan and welcome to the forum, if you read the guide below it explains what the settings control, and where all the settings are http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1504
  3. Alan, Another rather obvious question! Have you visited a site that you want to keep the cookie for, and then checked to see if it's appeared in the left hand list of cookies before you clean?
  4. Hello Alan D and welcome to the forum. Just to clear up exactly what you mean, are you going into the cookie options in ccleaner, clicking (highlighting) a cookie you want to keep in the left hand column and pressing the arrow in the middle to send it over to the righthand column where it will be saved as one you want to keep?
  5. Hello fireworksfx and welcome to the forum Do you have "window size/ location cache" ticked under the advanced options? If so try unticking it. Also to help you get the best out of ccleaner give this a read. http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1504

  9. Hello lisa It may be an idea to check where the Organize program keeps the things that you drag and drop into it. It may be that it uses temp folders which as you know ccleaner cleans out. It may also be worthwhile to post a hijackthis log in our forum to check for anything that shouldn't be there. Advice on how to do this is here http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1720
  10. Slowday 444, I would also put in a copy of your e-mail address book. In my case it's outlook express, and last year djlizard gave me this tip to make a copy of it, (note for outlook express) Do start, run and paste in %appdata%\Microsoft\Address Book and save it to wherever you want. In my case one copy to my documents and one to my external hard drive. It was a good tip as they are hard to replace when you have a lot!
  11. I also checked krit, a fine line perhaps to some, but somone said to me that there was lots of 3rd party apps which remove software e.g. uxtheme.dll patcher and tcpip.sys patch driver so where was the problem !! Good of you to post the link in a more user friendly way now more is known about it, and things have moved on, ( such as the wga lawsuit info posted by eldmannen)
  12. Hi krit, Already posted the link to this file 2 weeks ago, as did Humpty in a different thread http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showto...amp;#entry40428 however I recieved a pm from a member here saying what I had done was illegal !
