    Avi to DVD

It didn't put any logo's or anything on mine Aaron. I have found it best to start it and then go to bed and find it done in the morning. The iso burning only takes 5-10 minutes as opposed to the hours it takes to transcode. Just remember to follow the instructions in the guides! Good luck!

    Avi to DVD

Yes, after the download of Avi2dvd and Decrypter, just follow the guide. Don't do anything at all while it is transcoding and make sure your screensaver doesn't come on. You can give your iso a name such as "party" or whatever, to make it obvious. Try following the guide carefully Aaron, I'm sure with your capabilities you'll do it.
  16. I have just realised that when I type some text, and I want to delete it, I can just highlight and press the space bar ( no other key). I always thought I had to use the delete key with highlighted text!

    Avi to DVD

That's the reason I printed off the user guide aaron!! So I would know these things. It will ask you where you want the iso file stored before you start convertion, BUT remember no matter which output folder you choose to store it in, a folder called Av2dvd.temp will be created in it. You did remember to check " make iso" ?
  18. I wonder how many people know about this, and if anyone has used it http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...672&sd=tech
  19. It came up as SQL error 145. I copied and pasted it and sent it to Piriform as I couldn't reach anybody here obviously. They sent me a nice thank you e-mail back as they hadn't known about it.

Okay. Did your computer come with any bundled software? ( the dregs now!) EDIT. Just found out that these are also installed by microsoft in operating systems for quite a while now under the banner of twain data source manager modules to allow devices to work. http://www.ilixis.com/developer/twain2.html

    Avi to DVD

I thought I'd try out the Avi2Dvd free software for converting some avi files I had which I wanted to watch on TV instead of the computer, and was very surprised at the good results I got with it. I used the guide here ( very easy to follow) which I printed off. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/av...dvd_avi2dvd.cfm One thing I was a bit unsure about was the aspect ratio of the TV. I'm still a bit puzzled as I tried both settings 4:3 and 16:9 and cannot see much difference Also I know Decrypter has been overtaken, but it always works on my machine and if it's not broken, I'm not going to fix it! Just thought I'd share my thoughts on this software with you. P.S My files are legal.
  23. I think there is a lesson here gentlemen, some people like one thing and some like another. This always has, is, and will be the case. Agree to differ and move on!!
  24. Hello Mistress, Don't forget that with the issues scan you are prompted to make a back up which you can restore at any time you choose.
