  4. Krusty the Clown would approve of it.

  8. Welcome DCS On my XP systems the %USER%\AppData\Local\Temp is cleaned because I have System Temporary Files checked There are couple of files that can't be removed as they are in use by Windows.
  9. I keep getting these events in the System Event log Type: Error Date: 10/7/2008 Time: 4:10:28 PM Event: 7023 Source: Service Control Manager Category: None User: N/A Computer: IBMKS1 Description: The HID Input Service service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.
  10. They also have some fine Bourbon that comes from thereabouts.
  11. My little idiosyncrasy. I prefer to do banking On-On-One. That is between my bank teller and myself Face-To-Face. Its only a 10 minute walk to the bank and gives me needed exercise plus I get to watch the young gorgeous babes coming to and fro from wherever. I can also access my account through Telephone Banking that I know is me talking ( beeping ) to a machine to check my balance, pay bills and transfer funds. No cookies involved. A side trip to a local eating or drinking establishment is optional.
  12. I like those colorful little icons. I manage them and my Favorites with AM-DeadLink: http://www.aignes.com/deadlink.htm Click on the little red apple to check Favorites and download and save the FavIcons.
  13. After a few calls to their Technical Support helpline they informed me that SP3 changed the way keyboards are handled so that is why the application software does not work just like it does not work with Vista and they do not have a time frame as to when it will be fixed. I like the keyboard so far other than the 16 hotkeys not working.

  15. I do the same as Andavari with a NTREGOPT run and reboot.
  16. I would dump McAfee and go with Avast! or Avira AntiVir which I use. The only McAfee application I use is SiteAdvisor but I am starting to like Web of Trust ( WoT ) more. MBAM is good and I use it just as a check each day to see if something may have slipped into my system and thankfully nothing has yet.
  17. $39.95 to buy is too expensive for me. I have WinPatrol that fills the bill for me thanks to Bill P. and Windows Defender that adds a bit more protection.
