Coffee4Joe
place of interest %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\SkyDrive\logs I'm on a local account in 8.1 and never use skydrive. Could someone that uses an MS account & skydrive make sure removing those *.etl's doesn't break anything for them. edit: If the above is added to SkyDrive App*, DetectFile2=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\SkyDrive will be needed Edited November 10, 2013 by Coffee4Joe
Moderators Andavari Posted November 10, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 10, 2013 Additionally, how do we want to refer to temp files Do we want to make it [someprogram Temporary Files] or [someprogram Temps] or [someprogram Temp Files] Something like this is good, it keeps the names shorter to ultimately avoid using the scroll bar in CCleaner: [someprogram Temps] These can be too long if the program being cleaned already has a long name: [someprogram Temp Files] [someprogram Temporary Files]
TheWebAtom
I prefer 'Temporary Files' over 'Temps,' purely because of possible ambiguity. 'Temps' is also the abbreviated form of 'temperature' and could be confusing to people who don't speak English as a first language. I'm Shane. Moderators Andavari Posted November 10, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 10, 2013 'Temps' is also the abbreviated form of 'temperature' and could be confusing to people who don't speak English as a first language. Bug Report: CCleaner isn't telling the correct outside temperature. I think regardless of whatever "naming standard" is attempted the cleaning routines will probably still be submitted in a plethora of differently named variants. Moderators Nergal Posted November 11, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 11, 2013 I never had Adobe Acrobat on my PC but CCleaner always detects it. I think Adobe Reader entries detect paths that need to be corrected. No what probably is occurring is that reader was installed (either by factory or user) and the detect is in residence on your PC. As this is the winapp2 thread i assume you should be able to find those entries in your ini and remove the entry from your registry or drive. If you need further assistance please post back. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
