Actually I'm not the least bit alarmist. I just look, observe. I see other economists, politicians, pundits, etc., points of views and they're in that type of mode these days. Nothing new to me. Been done before throughout history many times. I agree with you Nergal.
Quite a few derechos & derecho-esque systems ran through the upper mid-west this summer already. I love the look of those clouds but would not want to experience them in my face.
That derecho that started in Iowa and Wisconsin a few days ago went though New Jersey and Delaware last night. I watched it on radar. Pretty wild to see it blast through the storm that was already there.
I myself am not scared of it. I'm not rigged up with tons of computer gadgets, just my ol' PC. And you're probably right, it does sound a lot like sensationalism.
I just tried JRT for the first time earlier today and it did find some obscure thingies. Does a restore point beforehand. That's a plus. Sounds like a good investment for MBAM.
They're assuming 100% of Windows users have smartphones, pads, pods, XBox, smartwatches, home smartapp controls, etc.
I wouldn't be caught dead with any of that, um, crud.
Like when a policeman pushes or 'rushes' a bum (a derelict) out of a fancy park.
For example - "W10 is here and it's new and pretty. W7 is old. Get out of here W7, I want W10." That's giving W7 the 'bums rush'.
