If you sign up to Windows Live or MS Live or whatever it's called now, you're screwed. That's where the bulk of snooping takes place. Check every hamburger or gear icon to turn off a lot of settings. If you rely on syncing your ever-so-precious iphone or tablet to your PC, you're screwed doubly. So glad I never fell into that millennial sh*t.

I'm sorry, I'm ignorant when it comes to Notepad++. Is Notepad++ a big app in programming? To me, a casual PC user, Notepad++ is in the same league as Paint or Calculator or Stickies or Text Document. But Notepad++ updates have been posted at least bi-weekly since I've joined here since what, 2006? What is it about this app? Nodles, I'm looking at You. The reason I'm intrigued is because to me it's almost like updating "1 + 1 = 2" for years on end. I'm curious.

Yes but that shows how to clean install Win 10 with an ISO, instead of how to normally upgrade to Win 10 online from your current 7 or 8 OS. It was that site, but it showed how to do a dirty install. I upgraded to Win 10 (from that site!) without creating an ISO. Please point me to those same instructions. (Wish I had bookmarked it.)
