  2. lol lets hope hannah comes back so we can figure out what she needs. ...Unlesss she had it on the QuickLaunch bar...... JDPower: I don't use the toolbar I just did a full install to make sure the button was still there. Then uninstalled the toolbar again.
  3. JDPower: If you do an install of CCleaner with the Yahoo! toolbar, it is customized with a run CCleaner button. Hannah828: All I can suggest to you is to uninstall the current toolbar (click the pencil and click uninstall). Then download CCleaner 1.40 (full download not slim) and install with the toolbar again. I have included a screenshot of what I believe hannah828 was meaning (first complete install I've done of CCleaner in ages).
  4. Try restarting the computer and trying again.

  7. No, CCleaner is not a file recovery program it only deletes junk/temporary files, it will does not "scan" for junk files, it looks in specific locations for them, a flash drive is not a default location for a program so it will not be affected. If you want to try, Recuva http://www.recuva.com/ (made by Pirform as well, like CCleaner), you may be able to recover some deleted files from the flash drive.
  8. Not sure what you are looking for but maybe you can use the suggestion here for a fake webcam: ( http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=10006 ).

  14. And also try checking one checkbox at a time, then running a analyze/clean. Let us know which one crashes it for you.

    Revenge...

    Awww thats cute as ever
  16. Those setup files (ccsetup117 etc) in your download folder are not the installed program, just the setup file for CCleaner so you can install it. If you select RUN nextime you download, it will just install over your currently installed CCleaner, without adding another file into your downloads directory, I'd advise using Save just in case you need to reinstall that version. It is perfectly fine to keep the setups but you probably don't need all the ones from 117 - 140 just keep the last few versions if you want, in case a new version has a bug any you need a previous version. You definitely don't need to go back an install 117 and then the new ones over it. Just make sure you have installed (not just downloaded) the latest version.
  17. If you haven't already, try the solution mentioned here: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=8588
  18. I've always had reliable free hosting with www.freewebs.com or with Yahoo Geocities Though you are limited to just uploading you files, no server side access like database scripting, forums etc. For that you will need real webspace / webhosting or you own personal webserver.
  19. Read: http://blogs.zdnet.com/Google/?p=572 Similar to Virtual Earth 3D by msn/live (aka Microsoft) Visit http://maps.live.com and click 3D and it will ask to install Virtual Earth 3D (manual download) Download Virtual Earth 3D (for Firefox): http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83190 Note: Pay attention during the install as it will default two checkboses for msn/live search. The msn 3D building look quite bad, (I know its a hugr job, but they still look badly rendered) hopefully Google do a better job...

You may also want to check if it is in your remembered passwords list: Firefox: Tools, Options, Security, Show Passwords (selectively delete stored passwords) IE: Tools, Internet Options, General, Delete, Delete Passwords (deletes ALL stored passwords) Hope one of the ways works for you.
