  1. Still using router+XP's firewall. I haven't got a need in having complete control in outbound connections. Common sense pretty much covers my security needs, well perhaps our security needs.
  2. Will there be a feature coming when we can have our own preferences in searching, just like how Google does it. In my case though, I want to search in Internet Sites by default. Skipping that part, overall I'm impressed with yauba. All I've dreamed of what Google should become are in this fantastic search engine. It still hasn't failed me giving the right searches. It just seemed to me as Google, only better.
  3. Back then all I get for breakfast is Pharmaton and water/milk to keep me going in the morning. I miss the school days where eating a full breakfast meant pooping in school and eating nothing will give me hyperacidity in class. Now I just munch anything my stomach desires for breakfast, but usually it is either bread or noodles.
  4. I may be late on congratulating you for moving to Vista, but may I ask how you are doing with your new machine? Are all things going as smooth as it was back then (XP). To be honest, I see Vista still have some parts that badly needs polishing, but I find it to be a tweaker's toy. I put my bets on Win7 to change again the way I look at Microsoft.
  5. Old 17" LG CRT Monitor New 18.5" Samsung TFT LCD Monitor
  6. The foods I hated when I was small, probably when I was around 3-4 years old. All vegetables, be it as small as the carrots found in instant noodles Soup-based main main course All fruits besides bananas (though I only eat dried mangoes now) All I eat back then were bananas (though I dislike them now), luncheon meats, and other fried meals, depending on their taste.
  7. I like eating almonds, walnuts, cashews, chestnuts, peanuts (still in the shell), and pistachios. I find opening the shells of pistachios and peanuts entertaining. For some reason, I refuse to eat any of 'em when they're mixed.

  9. Also, take note that the malware authors are aware of a person clicking the red X button to close the window. So far, it is preferred to end the task of the browser rather than simply clicking the X button, which will execute the malware rather than closing the browser.
  10. @Andavari Are you pointing out the MP3 files having the first part of the music cut, as mentioned in MSFN Forums?
  11. The Fuel/Wallet Gauge hit the spot there.
  12. For some odd reason, I feel some gloom in the game and the song, or is it just me having a pessimistic time reminiscing the good ol' years?
  13. I was actually surprised to see the differences when I tested Firefox 3.0.x vs Firefox 3.x in http://www.color.org/version4html.xalter I think the color management is enabled by default for Firefox 3.1 and Firefox 3.2. Also, looking up for gfx.color_management.enabled in mozillazine redirects me to gfx.color_management.mode, so I presume gfx.color_management.enabled applies only for Firefox 3. I have this settings for Firefox 3.2a1pre
  14. It's been 9 hours and 32 minutes since the banging started here. Happy New Year for you guys.
  15. So what's the time for you guys? Only 30 minutes left till the banging starts here.
  16. ... provided that the flash drive is connected to a USB 2.0 port, perhaps they'll see some benefits.
  17. I had that idea for a few months now, but I'm skeptical about it since I don't see much benefit from it (referring to my computer). I can hardly fill up my second DDR 400 512mb memory module.
  18. So far, this nice progam has given me way more features than I can exploit. Still, a software of great value.
  19. Can you see mine now? I've uploaded it in Photobucket, previously in Picasa hoping for it to show.
  20. Mine is just like, or similar to others... 1. Common sense. 2. Update programs when necessary. 3. Hardware firewall, with a software firewall on each computer. 4. Sandboxing/Virtualization programs. 5. Anti-malware software. 6. Alternative browsers with add-ons for added security, such as NoScript, Adblock Plus etc.
