  1. Also http://forum.pirifor...ndpost&p=205392, thanks to Alan_B.
  2. Because of forum rollback, some posts got deleted so I'll (try to) repost this. First: You could download the latest version again (at the moment it's v3.12.1572 (24 Oct 2011)). Then: Run CCleaner (as an administrator just in case) -> Untick the Recycle Bin-boxes -> Close CCleaner -> Run CCleaner (again with admin rights) -> Tick the options back, and see if that worked. You can also try to reboot your machine after this (especially if you haven't since the CCleaner updates).
  3. Do you know the paths/folders for the log files? Could be added to Winapp2.ini-file for starters.
  4. Not sure if everything's here & up-to-date, but we'll see and I'll try check & update later if I see something to correct (or new entries I've missed). 5. Had some problems again today. When tried to come here (forum.piriform.com) it redirected me to site https://www.sppcss.org/. I've some screenshots, before the redirect I refreshed some thread/forums and gave me this: And new visit/refresh redirected to the other site:
  6. nodles

    wrong poster

    Nice troll or just ?
  7. Would be nice, even to copy the paths.
  8. Ah, lost one post from here too. I've 8GB on my current PC, but had 4GB before this. Is there a guide for logging with portable CleanMem?
  9. I'll repost them + a few new ones later. I hate rollbacks.
  10. Any ideas what has happened? Rollback or something, because there are missing threads, posts (including my own) and my personal messages from last visit. Also the forums were down the whole day, not sure but probably over 10 hours?
  11. MODIFIED ENTRY [HUAWEI 3G Mobile Connect Logs*] LangSecRef=3024 DetectFile=%WinDir%\ModemLogs Default=False FileKey1=%WinDir%\ModemLogs|*.txt Title should be changed to Windows Modem Logs. It also contains other modem logs (not just HUAWEI).
  12. You should (always) first try the latest versions of Defraggler (and CCleaner) and see if that fixes the problem.
  13. I have to admit that my post wasn't very clear, sorry for that. Thanks for clarifying, Winapp2.ini.
  14. I had "similar" problems with some older version of Comodo Firewall + MPC HC. Comodo ran some update background and MPC HC mentioned about it in the info box (at the bottom of MPC) and resized from full screen to windowed, which was pretty annoying.
  15. Had some bad expierences with these memory cleaners (or suchlike), but I'll give this a try, thanks.
  16. This is how it shows to me with Firefox 8.0:
  17. Yeah, Angry Birds was released on January 2011 for PC/Windows. I've tried it on my PC, because I don't have an Android phone (yet).
  18. Yes, if you have installed your OS+apps to the drive you're going to wipe (usually C:\ is your home/systemdrive). It wipes/deletes everything, so be careful with the tool. Edit: Though I haven't tested it, but I guess you can't wipe your systemdrive (completely) while it's in use and especially if CCleaner is installed to the same drive. "Entire Drive will erase all of the files on the drive. WARNING, this means the whole of the partition will be erased. The drive will still be formatted, but all data will be erased. For safety reasons, this feature is disabled for the boot drive." from http://www.piriform....free-disk-space. Check also http://forum.pirifor...howtopic=33599
  19. Two POP-email accounts/addresses, though only one is active at the moment (the other is for the old emails sent to that address, closed account).
  20. You could also try to remove Flash & CCleaner, reinstall CCleaner & clean, boot and install Flash and then analyze/clean with CCleaner. You should keep your browser (Firefox) closed while installing Flash and for better cleaning results with CCleaner.
  21. I used it many years ago (when it was still good and free) and would never recommend it now. Well, I would recommend avoiding it. SpyBot & MBAM are much better. I do recommend SUPERAntiSpyware sometimes, but I remember it leaving some "components" after uninstalling it, so haven't tested it on my own PC in a while.
  22. Thunderbird profiles are located at %AppData%\Thunderbird\Profiles and should not be deleted. urlclassifier3.sqlite-file in %LocalAppData%\Thunderbird\Profiles profile-folder "Contains information on known phishing sites. Seems to be a replacement for urlclassifier2.sqlite, which replaced urlclassifier.sqlite." and gets recreated after using Thunderbird, Cache-folder, well, has Thunderbird cache in it, also gets recreated (in smaller size though, so it frees up space). Removing my profile in %LocalAppData%\Thunderbird\Profiles didn't affect my settings/emails, also ticked some settings in Thunderbird before cleaning and they we're still ticked. What I did notice, was that if you had email(s) opened in Thunderbird while closing it, after cleaning the mentioned folder, it might show all/some of those emails blank, so I had to reopen them, but it didn't delete the messages. Probably something to do with the cache-folder?
  23. Ahhh nice, thanks! You should sticky this thread? Edit:
