Since you know where the infected files are look for them manually maybe they were deleated by the malware scanners you ran. Do you have an AV with an active scanner maybe that deleated it.

That only happens to firefox. It only hapens if you have Firefox opened while you use CCleaner. If you use the preloader unload firefox while you use CCleaner.

Agumon you just helped me remember. If you are going to use IE and you just hate Firefox get this program it's an IE shell with built in popup blocker and many other great features. Did you see This that trojan is the most popular detection of a2 for the past three days. It's been known for a while that their were vulnerabilities in word. Let us know if ewido finds the infections as well. If not I bet it's a new infection that will be added to the rest of the scanners soon. Though you never know it could be a false positive. I dought that it is I'm sure we will probably here more about that trojan soon. Good luck .

I dont think your right. When the ewido trial is up real time protection is diabled but it still scans everything. I looked everywhere and didnt find anything about the scanner being downgraded after the trial was up. If I'm wrong please let me know (provide a link if possible.)

Actually I've been wondering about a problem like this. I can do it in IE but not Firefox. Please put up a link to the extension that your talking about. See if you can do it in IE. Also just to make sure were talking about the same thing. You mean those arrows that let you go up and down the page by dragging the mouse right?

I believe that those are trojans. Try a scan with ewido to see if it finds them as well. http://www.ewido.net/en/ Wait to see what Tarun or DjLizard say but I personally would remove those. If ewido finds them than I would deffinately remove them. Also remember to update ewido before you scan with it.

Dont worry about asking too many questions because the people here love to answer them. No it's not data mining or anything. It just shows your IP address which just about anything can do. I think the AV that it comes with is supposed to be very good. I'm gonna be honest though I have never tried the program myself but it's more than likely going to be like the norton suite its going to do every thing but nothing right. If you get this you would still need programs such as ad aware and spybot. I think you should get everything seperate Antivirus from an Antivirus company a firewall from a firewall company, ect. No, I've never had that error before. I have had link problems though, every once in a while I will try to open a link and it will open a new tab.Sounds normal enough right, well when I click on the new tab it wont come up it just stays on the current tab. I just restart and it fixes but it's still a pain.
