I helped a friend pick out a 'scratch and dent' from there. Cost her $410 for what priced out to be $800 if purchased new. Works flawlessly. She's yet to figure out what was scratched or dented. She's a brunette.

spy, Is there a practical reason to delete those files in LW? I'm not suggesting it isn't a good idea, I'm just curious as to the benefit. Thanks.

It's showing up in your FF update as of the last few hours. Otherwise it's available here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/all-rc.html Or here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/

So, you Brits are saying we Yanks are a few registry entries shy of a full install...? (Just trying to keep the thread in context.)
-
I'm not sure if it matters, but the old version's exclude.ini seemed different from the new one. I added the line for CCleaner manually, but added it again after a scan, just in case. The new entry had a different syntax.
-
Just get the trail again but use a different email address. Another full year for you.
-
FYI - Regseeker removes CCleaner's custom files and folders list (on my PC, at least). I had to add the entry to Regseeker's exclusions.

Update log: Version 1.50 - Improved Registry cleaner (with experimental invalid services) - Improved Registry Finder (within binary keys) - Perform 1 click full cleaning (Auto Clean) - Command line switch for cleaning (%regseeker path%\regseeker.exe /autoclean). Specify cleaning options in the Auto Clean panel - Ability to specify backup names - More entries listed in History/Open files - Old Start Menu items - New interface - some bugs fixed (like "Incide hors limite" / language selection)

vecchio - I'm pretty sure everyone here who uses Firefox will tell you it's faster than IE, no question. You should install Firefox and test it for yourself.

I use it often to voice between friends. Best sound quality of all of messaging programs, as far I know (and I've tried all the biggies). Sweet little program.
-
I have it also. I use it and Superantispyware instead of Adaware and Spybot now. It was being really fussy in its Active Protection mode, sometimes not allowing programs to open that I had set to Allowed (K-Meleon, for Example). I'm just using it as an on-demand scanner now. From what I read on Wilders, it's safe now and only the uber-paranoids there won't touch it.

Those will be in the cache also. You'll have to wait for CCleaner to include KM for cookies protection to be available.
-
No, there has to be a cache. I have 1.02 also. KM is setup up the same as Firefox, with a profile folder featuring all the usual components. It should be very simple to add KM to CCleaner.
-
I use Win2000. I assumed you had XP and from what I know, the paths should be the same. Sorry if I'm wrong. Do what Robbie suggested - file-search the word 'cache' and look for the KM folders in the results. You can find the latest build here: http://adblockplus.org/development-builds/...making-progress Follow the instructions on that page.
-
You can use a special version of AdBlock Plus on it now. Very nice. It's about 2/3 the way of matching Firefox (for me, anyway). It's certainly much faster.

First check 'Custom Files and Folders' in the Advanced section of Cleaner Settings/Windows. Go to Options, select Custom, click Add Folder, and add the following: C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\K-Meleon\default\Cache C:\Program Files\Profiles\K-Meleon\default\Cache That should cover you. I'm guessing you'll have to have KM closed before running CCleaner, as you would for Firefox.

Same thing on mine. I don't remember it ever saying it updated. But I check the 'Latest Updates' on FileHippo every morning, so I just do my updating from there.
-
I manually added it to my CCleaner
-
There were some Sun folders left in my Documents and Settings folder, which I trashed before installing the update. Thanks.
-
Remove them before installing this update or after?

I'll take Liberal blog fabrications for $100, Alex
