I just wanted to recreated this, and I can confirm the above. they don't go. They are associated with Opera whereas I haven't used Opera in months!!! I just have it installed in case I need it for testing.

If you have located the the file, try using Unlocker. If not that, try rebooting.

It isn't a bug (or at least not a serious one.) If CCleaner shows that there is nothing to remove in the "Cleaner" tab when all the browsers are closed, it means all the cookies (that are there to be deleted) are deleted. Cookies to Delete, basically lists the recent cookies CCleaner has detected and allows you to move them to "Cookies to Keep" No biggie. Welcome to the forums

mr don, you write a lot. Please stay on topic Back to the topic... You shouldn't really bother cleaning the HDD once you're on the SSD. You may right click on the HHD drive on "My Computer" and use Disk Cleanup which should suffice as you're not using it as your default drive anyway! You could defrag the HDD once in two months as well. I'd say move all your documents, things rarely used, pictures, movies to the HDD and that's about it. Just my 2 cents.

No, all the temp files are grouped under one... so from the 'results' you can check everything you want to remove. For example, everything except the 'Recycle Bin'.

Addition to what ident said above, make sure you have browsers closed while running CCleaner...

Where did you download the installation file from? Have you scanned for viruses? Try re-setting your Browser as the default browser.
