Thanks for all your help. I did manage to delete the file. Strange though. It took me 4 or 5 reboots and I could finally get cclener to work and access the large file that was located in my root C:\ directory. Thanks again all.

Hi there, I was using the wipe clean function and I tried to cancel out of it and then used the task manager to end the process. Now I am stuck with a 67.6 Gig file that I can't delete that takes up most of my hard drive space and CCleaner won't start. When I try to delete the file it tells me I have not got permission even though I am logged on as an Administrator. I am using Win Vista SP2 Can anybody help me delete this file. Thanks, STeve
