redhawk
Does anyone know the origins of the company name and why it was chosen?? I'm guessing it's a play on the phrase "gone pear-shaped" or perhaps it's MrG's favourite fruit. Richard S.

Moderators Andavari Posted August 2, 2010 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2010 Just to confuse things there are some lovely tomatoes http://www.johnnysee...r-piriform.aspx They're charging that much for tomatoes? Good thing I can just go pick them right out of my garden, and for free.

Ishi
Its simple. From my understanding, the idea for the company logo, its like a form that resembles a pear so in this case its like a "peary-form" and just shorten that to Piriform. But whatever it is, we just like to use their products that's why we are here. I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE. mr don
Just to confuse things there are some lovely tomatoes http://www.johnnyseeds.com/p-7113-red-pear-piriform.aspx Of course, that was very interesting that they do "pear shaped" tomatoes. I see no reason for confusion, however, as pears are easily distinguishable from even the "pear shaped" tomatoes. http://anormalday.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/pear-bartlett.jpg

Good job you pointed it out that it's easy to spot the difference between a pear and a tomato or I would never have known Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
